Ah, our favorite time of year is almost here! The sales are coming! What addons are you thinking about picking up? Orbx products with their 48% off, FlyTampa with their incredible sceneries, maybe Flightbeam or FSDT? So many great addons, so little money:laugh:

I fly A320/737/777/747. Nothing else really. I finally have my A320 P3Dv4.1 really stable, working fine.

I think I might go one or another ORBX airport. Or maybe FB KSFOHDv2. Depending what's on sale.

Hopefully FS2Crew has a sale, I've got a few I want to pick up.

I can wholeheartedly recommend SFO, it's a gem and one of Flightbeam's best work so far (imo)!

If Orbx do the usual Thanksgiving sales I will probably end up spending $200 like the last big sale. I like orbx products but I would never buy at full price as I think its a little steep.

Aren't we all?

ORBX Socal and KSAN

A couple of Carenado (yeah i know...but they have a couple of planes for FSE id like) if they do something.

Ryzen 7 5800X3D, 64gb ddr4 3200mhz ram, RTX 4080 Super, HP Reverb G2 v2, 4K Tv Monitor

Carenado typically doesn't put the current year's releases on sale.  So anything released after the PA46 Meridian is probably going to be full price.

Personally, I'm going to finally pick up the PC-12, the TBM 850, and the B1900D.

Sorry guys for the beginner question, but whats the best online store, in terms of price and download times, to purchase add-ons for Prepar3d V4?

Kind regards,

Regards,

I can see myself going crazy on OrbX scenery. Maybe I’ll go for all of NZ or polish off areas in the US...not quite sure yet. All I know is, my bank account will not be happy, but I will be. :biggrin:

Most would recommend going to the developers sites themselves considering downstream and support issues.

Not that there is anything wrong with going to 3rd-party vendors if you want a single POS who may also be in a better position to offer discounts, sales etc. Be careful though as some levy additional charges based on location and/or PAYPAL top-ups.

Too many to name them all however some of these are:

  1. Addon Aircraft - PMDG, Flight Sim Labs, A2A, Majestic Software for the Q400, Flight 1, Aerosoft, Carenado/Alabeo, Milviz, Quality Wings, TFDi etc;
  2. Addon Scenery - FS Dream Team, FlyTampa, FlightBeam, ORBX, Aerosoft, UK2000, Pacific Island Simulations etc;
  3. Utilities such as cameras, flight planners etc - Aivlasoft, Aerosoft PFPX, Flight 1, Chaseplane, EZDOK, FSI Panel, HI-FI Sim for Weather and related Addons, REX, TOGA Projects etc

Above listings are just a few, there are many others that I have not listed

Hope this helps in some way

Kind regards

I will probably buy nothing because I already own what I Iike. Which isn't too much btw: I like to keep my amount of addons limited. The only two addons I am hoping to buy this year are the AS Airbus and FTX Netherlands Photoreal and if they are released this year (probably not) they obviously won't be on sale. I might have bought one or two extra FTX regions if Orbx hadn't announced FTX Netherlands Photoreal: since I know they are going the photoreal way I won't be spending a single dime on landclass scenery anymore. And planes... who needs more planes when you have the A2A Comanche and are waiting for the Airbus? I don't.

Do FlyTampa have sales? I am thinking about grabbing Copenhagen Kastrup.
