December 3, 20178 yr The five that make the flight simulator for me. Not in any order, that's too difficult! 1. Orbx scenery, all of it. 2. AS4 Active Sky for P3dv4, (using REX TD/SC to draw it) 3. Flight 1 GTN 750/650 bundle for P3dv4. 4. ChasePlane 5. P3dv4.....have to say the improvements over v3 are good for me. I landed at London City airport last night, at night and my jaw dropped when I saw the reflections of the city blocks in the Thames and the docks. Flying in over central London (Orbx UK maxed out settings) I saw acceptably smooth flight....3 year old PC which would stutter in v3.
December 3, 20178 yr Here are mine: 1. ORBX (the whole bunch) 2. ActiveSky for P3D 3. RealTraffic + PSXseeconTraffic 4. FSPXAI and FAIB AI aircraft liveries Nico
December 3, 20178 yr 1. Active Sky 2. My Traffic 6 3 EZ dok 4 A2A aicraft 5 PF3 ATC when Vatsim is not online.
December 3, 20178 yr My sole reason for coming to P3Dv4 is that I can have the sim the way I want it. PMDG the Queen. ORBX as much as I can get most of Europe and north America and airports ActiveSky. ENVSHADE. ChasePlane Add to that Major airports FlighBeam, Taxi2Gate, FlyTampa, Drzewiecki Design, Traffic on road and air, overclocked software per core 2 x 5ghz, 2 x 4.8ghz. Raymond Fry.
December 3, 20178 yr Not necessarily in any order of preference. Active Sky with ASCA. Pretty much essential since the default clouds in P3D are cack. Air Hauler 2. Provides loads of reasons to fly to interesting places and features a lot of fun management stuff. Power Project V4.0 Scenery. Although the BGLs for the cooling tower scenery don't show up in P3D, the FX of the smoke does, and since you can see the steam coming from from Fiddlers Ferry power station's eight 375 foot tall cooling towers from literally a hundred miles away on a clear day, and that's right near my home airport, I still use it in P3D anyway as the scenery doesn't look right without that effect in the sky. Ultimate Terrain X - Europe V2. A big improvement visually for European terrain, both by day and night, for a reasonable price. Precipit FX. A vast improvement to the rain, snow, contrails, wingtip vortices, touchdown smoke etc, for very little cost. Alan Bradbury Check out my youtube flight sim videos: Here

December 3, 20178 yr Being a casual flier.. here's my faves in no particular order: 1. P3D v4 Orbx (the entire lot) 2. P3D v4 Active Sky and Cloud Art (was using Rex Soft clouds but switched back to Cloud Art for variation) 3. Rex for extra texture detail (runways ect) 4.FSTramp (interactive moving map with elevation information and airport details) 5.FSCaptian (adds passengers, aircrew, copilot and gives scores at the end of a flight) Honorable mentions.. GSX (Ground Marshall mostly). Precept FX RealAir Duke V2 Spad Next PS... still holding on to hope A2A will update AccuFeel for P3D v4. This would make my conversion to P3D from FSXSE complete! Cheers all, D-Man
