If using Black Marble for night lights, disable service roads.

Also manually disable the LC entry for CYYZ. Fly Tampa has two entries, one for scenery, one for landclass.

ok ill try that thanks

I thought I can disable LC in P3D scenery but not allowed...Should I try disable it whole LC folder....? Anyone tried this?

Alex

I too get all these weird textures if I don't disable the yyz lc...I'm on p3dv4 now and I don't know how to disable the greyed out scenery layers.

Get the freeware "Addon Organizer for Prepar3D" by Lorby-SI

It will allow you to do that.

Go into the addon cfg file and switch true to false.

I disabled the Toronto LC and it does make a difference on my computer. I use Ultimate traffic at 100 % and there are lots of A/C at gates, taxing and on final and departure. Before I disabled LC it was a stutter show. I must also say I have scaled the effects of ver 1.3 alot but I wanted smooth flying on app rather that all the eye candy. With Toronto it is always hard on frames unless you have a really high end system. You have to deal with what you have and there will be trade offs to get to that acceptable point. YMMV.

Maintaining 30fps most of time

thou noticing gpu spikes panning around at certain spots at terminal.

traffic 20% P3d off cores 1 and 2 process lasso

dL off

medium  settings P3d

i74790k 16gb ram

ssd

2 x titans sli 6gb each

I got Lorby's manager, disabled LC and it is touch better....not a huge improvement but workable around CYYZ...still some stuttering turning when TAXI but I would say better than before.....

Alex

In my p3d scenery\base\scenery folder, there is a file called Toronto.bgl

It is set as Hidden. I am not able to uncheck the box. Does this have something to do with poor FPS in the area?
