I wonder how many floppy disks that would translate to for installation

takes too many floppy disk. I down load the data to some old Johnny Cash 8 tracks. I then take my computer out to my 60"s pickup truck that is on blocks in the back yard and use the 8 track player to load up.

Hm, okay... but you'd think the pro's need more than a default (meaning 'rather simple') heli for training. Unless the new heli's are 'study level payware quality'? Or perhaps LM internal training needs don't require any deep simulation.

No need to believe a noob, but perhaps the horse's mouth may convince you:

Yh, but you need it for PMDG - and that's the only aircraft hangar I fly with

As far as I know, PMDG products do not require FSUIPC either, but that's probably best answered by PMDG staff.

This is correct, no current PMDG products require FSUIPC,

I've never installed FSUIPC in P3Dv4, and the only reason I use it in FSX and P3Dv3 is for VAS testing.

Roughly 27'777 5.25-inch disks (dual sided/low density). Its advised to make sure they are all labeled properly and a 2nd floppy disk drive can speed up installation process significantly

I use FSUIPC to create different aircraft profiles and key mappings which is very useful when switching to different aircraft types. On that basis alone it is essential.

I recon a two week vacation should be enough to get the installation done.

Any progress about F1 GTN750/650?

I dont care my sim stutters for 1 sec for GSX to open

But you'll probably care if GSX vehicles missed their textures. That would be reason enough to upgrade.

You are trying to help people here and that is nice but you really have no idea what you are talking about on this topic. There is a bug using photoscenery it isn't as simple as "change your settings"

Sure it is.  I'm not having any problems with photo scenery.

That pause is a comfort to me because it means GSX is working.   If I press Cntl-Alt-F12 and see no pause, I'm like 'oh for F*word not allowed sake'!.

I'm clarifying so people who may see your original post don't get confused. The way you worded it makes it sound like everyone needs FSUIPC, which isn't the case.

It will be better if I can figure out water cooling and do some over clocking but every time I turn the hose on the damn thing goes dark and then I have to wait nearly a whole week for it to dry out. I am thinking of upgrading to a TRS-80 and may then I can speed up my bit coin minning also.

Point taken.  Agreed.
