August 2, 20187 yr The latest Nvidia driver is causing major stutters. I had no problems with he previous driver 398.36 and considering going back. I usually run DDUcleaner to uninstall before installing any new driver. I've also stopped using Nvidia inspector and have been configuring the driver through the P3Dv4 and through Nvidia control panel. Anyone else seeing this issue or at least have some success with it? Thanks. August 2, 20187 yr Did you delete your shader binaries? (I wonder how many times before that this question has been asked?)

August 2, 20187 yr I updated to the same drivers (398.36) and have not experienced any stutters or decreased performance. Not saying there isn't a problem with the drivers, just that I haven't experienced any with my setup. Just flew PMDG 737NGX and all was smooth. Haven't had many performance issues with this machine since I built it in January, or from following my normal procedures before flights. Been averaging between 50-75 fps with no noticeable stutters etc. I also use PTA, Skyforce and AsP3dv4 and from what I understand, clearing sharers is normal. Prior to installing last driver, it has worked well for me. UPDATE: I have since uninstall/reinstall older driver and all is back to normal. August 2, 20187 yr All this talk of not updating drivers is almost always contrary to developers recommendations so.....may as well update. 👨🎓
August 2, 20187 yr Don't fix something that isn't broke... I stay with NVidia driver 397.64 if they do not support the Prepar3D ,i'm not going to update... my sim works smooth..with zero stutters and having the most add-ons , with my Traffic Density 100%
