My only 2 suggestions would be

1, Incorporate the rain effects from A2A, one it's free to developers and two their rendition of the effects are the best out there in my opinion.  I'm sure this has already been mentioned as coming later but not sure if it's the A2A version of rain.

They are coming. I feel like a broken record. 😀

Anyone explain why we pay in dollars from the UK, but get charged VAT ?

Is VertX a European company ?

I like that, although real world (and simulated) I've always got a Bose noise cancelling headset on pretty much from the get go 🙂  ... sadly I have some studio monitors just sitting dormant.

But I have tinnitus so I pretty much use noise cancelling headphones as much as I can as that's the only thing that helps reduce the 24/7 high pitch squeal.

Love this aircraft, thank you.

Cheers, Rob.

Strange you say that.

Having lived near noisy neighbours for 10 years, my 3 pairs of BOSE anc buds/phones, have been used a lot..... but I'm convinced that's what CAUSED my tinnitus !

Life sux !

That was one of the first things I noticed - This->  the aircraft ignores the "mute on lost focus" setting in P3D and always mutes on lost focus.

I'll look into this.  I haven't looked at the underlying DirectSound stuff in a while, but I think this can be configured when you initialize DirectSound.

It is a sound gauge "issue".

As DJJose mentioned several times. Rain effects will come "soon". And Yes, it will be A2A. It was not a sign of not willing. It would have lead to significant delays in the release date. So Sean decided to implement it as an update.

And True Light ?

Might cause problems with the G1000?

Is the LPV which depends on WAAS presumably, only useable in the U.S. ?

Yes and no. If you use default P3D navdata, consider, these are from 2008 afaik.Which countries had LPV at that time? No clue. If you use FSAerodata? Jay may read this and could contribute 😉 .

Is there a way to turn TCAS on or off in the plane? Transponder is turned on and seems to be working.

No TCAS, sorry

Thnx Rudi.

I watched your video and saw you perform an LPV approach. Am I getting confused ?

Also, I presume, as the G1000 is 3D, we will never see Synthetic Vision ?

I'm not sure if this is the answer to all of the problems that have been mentioned regarding power problems, but it is possible to run the battery flat on the ground, and when that happens the only way to power up the avioncs/starters etc is via ground power. Pg 30 of the user guide has info on how to do that.

Some other problems related to the master switch could be related to hardware conflicts. For example a hardware magneto switch sending key events that conflict with the code that controls the various automated systems in the DA62.

Sean - This is exactly what had happened to me as I had not noticed the 'Tip' in the manual mentioning the ground power.  Then the panel state of course remembered the battery was dead causing my issues.  As I sit trying to learn the G1000 I am making sure Aux power is on...😄

In the P3D default nav data base, I found a lot of US airports who seem to "offer" LPV when choosing one for my video.

OK, so LPV is a U.S. thing for now.

Thanks a lot!

Monitor Headphones:Sennheiser HD 600 is a good solution. HD 650 (new foam pads, only relevant if you want to buy old, used ones) not far away, a little more deep bass, a little less upper mids. Noice Cancelling: Bose QuietComfort 35 II might be a solution which sounds neutral.

Guys, a good soundcard is more important.

Good soundcard with cheap headphones, is much better than the other way around.

I never use the on board sound.

I use also bluetooth receivers. For example

Also offered by other resellers using the CSR8675 chipset.

Or:

https://focusrite.com/usb-audio-interface/scarlett/scarlett-2i4

but also need that for other purposes. Recording audio for my videos for example.

That is good.

Point I was making, is that you do not need 300 dollar headphones.

A 50 or 60 GBP soundcard  + 30 or 40 GBP headphones, will sound better than onboard sound, with 1000 GBP magnar planars !

In fact, good headphones, with poor sound source, will often sound worse, as they highlight poor quality sound.

1st.... a decent soundcard.... 2nd, headphones.

And BOSE are rubbish. Great ANC, but that's about it. I have 30 quid Sony TV phones, that sound better. Open back too.... much better.
