I agree...I bought my 3.4 mhz system about 2.5 years ago and it can't handle FS9 in all situations! (although I have a 9800 pro).

<>Oh, never mind then... ;)

Maybe I should have said previews or observations... :-hah I still think it's funny about your testing on a '1ghz machine with a 32mb video card'. :-lol What's the point??? Who in their right mind is going to try and run FSX on machine with specs that low? It's like you guys (and this is not ment as a slam to you personally) find the lowest machine the sim will boot on and slap that on the box under 'Minimum Specs'. I guess you could slideshow/fly your way around New York (in FSX) with a system like that, it wouldn't look like New York per say but rather a bad dream out of 'Barbarella' somewhere... I probably could get Windows Vista to boot up on a 500mhz Pentium as well but how is that going to help users with more realistic hardware that not only need Windows but Office to run on top of it??? Now if you can get FSX/XP to run decent on machines the target market is actually using (not us here at Avsim mind you), then that would be something... :-beerchug 'Tdragger' this is all in fun as I'm pulling your chain hopeing you're guys release a solid product this fall... :-)

Minmum specs are pretty ridiculous. Remember, minimum for FS2004 was:450mhz CPU128 mb RAM8mb Video cardRandall

:-lol Guys this is getting hilarious but it's true...I'd be willing to bet they'll end up putting '1ghz machine with a 32mb video card' on the FSX box for 'Minmum Specs'... :-xxrotflmao Can you imagine the sucker who falls for that???

Is there really anyone out here who actually bothered to read all replies...? My goodness...Let's just wait and see and than judge... ;)BTW The visual improvements alone (when the DX10 patch comes) already made me decide to buy FS X. Heck, after reading about it I even decided to buy a complete new Vista/DX10 system when the hardware is there! Everything else that has improved is a big bonus! ;)

"Is there really anyone out here who actually bothered to read all replies...?"Probably not... The last 12 post are the most important. I'd suggest looking over those... :-hah :-beerchug :-bluegrab

Another funny thing about this: If any of you remember Sublogic's Flight Simulator 2 for the Commodore 64, I pulled it out the other day, and was never getting anything but 3 or 4 fps. I remember thinking that it was the greatest invention on the planet back then. Has it really been 20 years since already?

SO, how do we go about getting the 'Demo/Beta' (I keep hearing about) of FSX?
