NEW P3D v4.4 SIM IS TOO MILITARY ORIENTED

That is not even remotely accurate.  Sorry.  Just isn't.

Hello Ed,

as in: teaching commercial or military pilots how to fly an aircraft? That is good to know. Would you mind pointing me at an FAA certified FTD that is built around Prepar3D and in commercial use? That would be much appreciated. (PM if you prefer).

Best regards

We are simply their cheap R&D tools and beta testers.  Their real business and income are not from us--nor they will ever be. We're lucky, in some respects to have a very rich company, like Microsoft, at work on the sim and its evolution.  LM is not a consumer gaming company.

Microsoft doesn't have anything to do with P3D other than licensing the ESP engine to LM.

In my reference to Microsoft, I was simply implying their financial size. As the demise of Flight sim world showed, only companies with large bank accounts can perhaps undertake a flight sim that current users expect.  So it's good that LM is behind this sim. Money and manpower will not be an issue for them.

At this juncture I would just like to say a massive thanks to my American cousins and their tax dollars for footing the bill for the development of my favorite flight sim. So Lockheed Martin and the US tax payer, many thanks.

You are so welcome.

I agree. Besides, wouldn't this thread be more in its place in the Hangar Chat?

Thanks and Regards,

Closing this tread might be a solution I think.
Cannot imagine any use for this tread any longer.
Its  just a matter of different opinions and I think we have seen /heard  them all by now.
