ORBX TrueEarth US Washington for XP11--OMG!

Recommended Posts

Holy Batsheet!

Can't imagine how this will run in XP let alone P3D (when it comes out for P3D if it does).

With 5G right around the corner in the US this stuff needs to live on a server for a subscription...IMHO!

Hopefully X-Plane can sort out its crappy weather, then it's going to be a joy flying around that.

Sort out it's ATC/Traffic AI, weather,  and seasons all are still problematic after all these years.

X plane 11 doesn't have seasons still?

Nope. Not native. I bought TerraMaxx from X-Aviation and it's horrific. Waiting for change of seasons while it loads and huge frame rate drops. It's a mess.

What has this to do with P3D !!!!!

I thought I had strayed into the wrong forum as XP is blanked out on my settings, or the screenshot forum.

Well I guess that's an issue. Will it come out for P3D? I haven't checked the ORBX site to see whether it's in their plans.

I'd bet it will be out for P3D too. X-Plane needs this and I definitely will grab it for that sim. The land-class based regions that we already have in P3D are still really good and offer the advantages or seasonal textures and smaller storage space...but ortho done this nicely with all those custom POIs is really compelling even if you do have to fly in a perpetual summer.

I just got an email from ORBX teasing 100% PBR airports in the pipeline with near parallel timelines for both X-Plane and P3D. Great stuff coming from that company.

There is a dedicated X-Plane forum on this very site.

I am really looking forward to this product. It looks amazing. It will be nice to see it release in P3D later this year for V4.x and V5.

This looks just amazing and shows the power of a next gen engine as opposed the creaking ESP I was using in FSX.

As others have pointed out - once XP11 sorts out its seasons, weather & ATC it will have REALLY arrived :)

I jumped ship to XP11 a year ago and uninalled FSX last week, wasnt easy to do, like saying bye to an old friend but I want to deal with just one sim and its gonna be the new one.

Well, let's see...SO EVERYONE WHO USES P3D like myself can be aware of this EXCITING DEVELOPMENT--very likely this product WILL BE available for P3D as TE England N/S is or will be shortly.  This is how we learn new things Fargo, we get out of our tiny box for a few seconds every once in a while.
