Got lost - seems like a post is missing, but I'm sure it is just one of my brain cells. What settings did you use for HT, AM, Vsync and FPS limiter? Do not be afraid to experiment (!) As you have read above, there is no "right" solution for everybody and every system Edited June 16, 20196 yr by Bert Pieke Bert

I do actually network in Active Sky but all other addons I keep off the first and second cores on my old i5-2500k that still serves me well running at 4.5Ghz on all cores. Good luck and monitor your core loading in Process Lasso as a fair reference tool and remember the saying “everyone’s system is unique and preforms differently “ Joe Joe (Southern California) System: I9-9900KS @5.1Ghz/ Corsair H115i / Gigabyte A-390 Master / EVGA RTX 2080 Ti FTW3 Hybrid w 11Gb / Trident 32Gb DDR4-3200 C14 / Evo 970 2Tb M.2 / Samsung 40inch TV 40ku6300 4K w/ Native 30 hz capability / Corsair AX850 PS / VKB Gunfighter Pro / Virpil MongoosT-50 Throttle / MFG Crosswind Pedals / LINDA, VoiceAttack, ChasePlane, AIG AI, MCE, FFTF, Pilot2ATC, HP Reverb G2

So in P3Dv4, set Vsync to OFF and Framerate slider to UNLIMITED... RTSS will do the rest. Setting Scanline Sync x/2 to any value that is not 0 (zero) will make RTSS limit the app's frame rate to half of your monitor's frequency. Easy as that! 🍻 Greg

If you have six or more cores, HT becomes less attractive.. Again, just my opinion Bert
