August 22, 20196 yr Administrators Just saw this posted on another site: https://www.facebook.com/SimWorksStu...91215974317935 Charlie AronAVSIM Board of Directors-ADMIN/Moderator-RegistrarJust going to run a Chromebook and not upgrade to a Windows computer. Too many problems with the new Sims! 😱Trying to keep peace and harmony and the will of Landru on the site seems to be a full time job!
August 24, 20196 yr Author Well, this doesn't look good. I should have copied all my license information when I had the chance.... I tried reaching the site again today, no luck. Additionally, I put in a support ticket almost 2 months ago with them and never got a reply. Not a good sign.
August 24, 20196 yr Author Looks like the talk about a a NEW website is actually true. (See the original address) Looks like it just came up this morning.

The new website is there but doesn't seem to be fully functional as yet. I had the message "It looks like you're returning from the old site" when I tried to log in, with instructions to reset my password, but the password reset link received in the email will not connect to any server! I guess I'll wait another day or two and then try again! Bill
August 24, 20196 yr I have the same problem...........Time to move on...........I'll never understand how a vendor doesn't understand the importance of a functioning website.....Sigh Intel 10700K @ 5.1Ghz, Asus Hero Maximus motherboard, Noctua NH-U12A cooler, Corsair Vengeance Pro 32GB 3200 MHz RAM, RTX 2060 Super GPU, Cooler Master HAF 932 Tower, Thermaltake 1000W Toughpower PSU, Windows 10 Professional 64-Bit, 100TB of disk storage. Klaatu barada nickto.
August 25, 20196 yr Just figured it out...I copied the URL for the link in the email for resetting password ("x" represents a number or letter): https://fspilotshop.com/new-password/198281/7a4bd91f-c378-xxxx-xxxx-xxxxxadxxxxx Delete https:// and so you have: fspilotshop.com/new-password/198281/7a4bd91f-c378-xxxx-xxxx-xxxxxadxxxxx That got me to a reset password page. After you set your new password, login and you'll get a message about confirming your account. When you click on the link in this email, you'll get the same error as before, but do the same thing as before and remove the "https://" and that will get you to the page to login again. That all worked for me, however, once I finally logged in, the download links don't seem to work, and I get an error when I try to view order details...but at least I got logged in, and there does seem to be a somewhat functioning website - whew, I think. For many years flightsim and fspilotshop were related, but they split a while ago and went their separate ways. FsPilotShop seems to have been in some kind of trouble for a while. In the last 12 months payment of developer royalties was often too late and in some months didn't happen at all. In fact, the last payment that I received was at the beginning of June this year, so they are two months behind now. The site being down doesn't look good, and I can only hope that they can work it out. Best regards Let me know when there is any news. I haven't had a payment for over a half year. Do you know if Adam Howe is still onboard.. I cannot get in touch with him. I did get my vendor dashboard running. There are zero sales in all past months. Looks like they are working on it. Most of my products are activated. At least they are there. I do not know if this new ownership will transfer our past royalties or not..ThankX Edited August 30, 20196 yr by Skoaler

I haven't heard from Adam in person for a while now, the last emails were the automated ones for Easter and 4th of July sales. According to the dashboard none of my products has ever been sold, so the complete history is still missing. All my products are listed with incorrect compatibility (XP instead of FSX/P3D) but they are in state "denied" anyway, so at least nobody can accidentally buy them. Still, this is something that I will have to watch out for, can't have people buying stuff that they can't use. Best regards Edited August 30, 20196 yr by Lorby_SI LORBY-SI

October 20, 20196 yr Commercial Member I would think if there was such an ongoing issue they would have put a message on their front page of the situation, good or bad. It certainly appears the site has gone dormant. I would suggest you guys check out the Store at Flightsim.com. I have been very happy with them both as a customer and as a developer.
