September 17, 20196 yr Sorry just my dark sense of humor!! I am pretty sure it does exist but looking back at all the internet noise I can find exactly 2 people who have actually hooked one of these units to their computer. I look at the Honeycomb web site and no customer service emails. Like most silly facebook pages it is nothing but dribble. I am just wondering how many others who like me have pre-ordered and are just kind of scratching their head and wondering if we have bought another flight sim "pig in a poke" It is not the money that concerns me as I have gambled much more than a couple hundred dollars on a poker hand and lost. LOL!! What does concern me is that I may have put trust in a company who has zero customer service...they never have even acknowledged receipt of the order. So far, no real method of contact, no idea about user forums, no customer service, no flight yoke...I give them a a rating of 1 out of 100 to this point. I am not sure this will be worth the frustration even if it ever finds its way to my home from somewhere in china. Lord, I can't even imagine what will be required if it arrives and has a problem or is damaged. So did you pre-order a shinny new Unicorn also??🐢 Sam Prepar3D V5.3/[email protected]/EVGA 3080 TI/1000W PSU/Windows 10/40" 4K Samsung@3840x2160/ASP3D/ASCA/ORBX/ ChasePlane/General Aviation/Honeycomb Alpha+Bravo/MFG Rudder Pedals/
September 17, 20196 yr I've been watching the development of this yoke with some interest myself. What company did you preorder it from. Xforce PC is taking preorders and Austin tried out a sample they obtained in this video. Hopefully you hear something soon. I am the type that always waits until something has been out and tested by real users for some time before I even think about purchasing, so it looks like I will be waiting for quite some time yet. Understand about the pre order thing and as I said the 200 dollar bet was no big deal. I am just amazed at how this whole thing has gone on for so long. I am still pulling for the company to pull it off but it has been so weird from the very start. The guy who started the company seems to be very serious about getting the job done. I just wish he could get over the face book junk and treat it more like a business. September 17, 20196 yr Hi shivers9, do you have any idea what the freight will be on your order. I assume the pre-order was placed with AS in Germany and your having it shipped to the US, or did they arrange drop shipping with a US source? Jose A. They are located out in California. To be honest, they have had so many stories in the interviews that I really have not a clue as to when where or how except that there is something I think on the face book site that now mentions mid to late part of sept. Your guess is as good as mine as to shipping cost or method. LOL All I know is that I sent them 219 USD thru pay pal. September 17, 20196 yr I came oh so close to preordering the yoke but that still small voice whispered cool your heels and wait to hear from real customers. A year maybe. I too have been following the development for some time with hope followed by doubt. I hope some folks didn't buy the Brooklyn Bridge. Vic green
September 17, 20196 yr Should know more in a few weeks they will be at the Cosford Flight sim Show with the hardware. Raymond Fry.

Yep, more often than not I wait for customer reviews. If it arrives from some point in time from some location on earth and I hate it or how it fills I will just glue it to the wall and hang hats on it. LOL I am not in the least worried that someone is trying to be crooked or any of that stuff. September 18, 20196 yr Hello all, Here is as question regarding the LR video above. At the 24.00 mark, Austin talks about resolution (1 in 1000) Can anyone tell me if that "resolution" comes from the potentiometer or the PC board. If it is, in fact, the potentiometer, will changing from pots to hall sensors alleviate this problem? Regardless, this yoke has certainly impressed the XPlane boy and looks quite good. Regards to all Tony Tony Chilcott. My System. Motherboard. ASRock Taichi X570 CPU Ryzen 9 3900x (not yet overclocked). RAM 32gb Corsair Vengeance (2x16) 3200mhz. 1 x Gigabyte Aorus GTX1080ti Extreme and a 1200watt PSU. 1 x 1tb SSD 3 x 240BG SSD and 4 x 2TB HDD OS Win 10 Pro 64bit. Simulators ... FS2004/P3Dv4.5/Xplane.DCS/Aeroflyfs2...MSFS to come for sure.
September 18, 20196 yr Austin has also looked at the Yoko and said he will also look at the Brunner yoke. I think for the price the Honeycomb yoke will be hard to beat? Those other yokes are 4 to 5 times the cost of the Honeycomb. Cheers Martin
September 18, 20196 yr Well I'm sold. Definitely time to toss out the old Saitek. If this turns out to be as nice as Austin demonstrates in the video, I'll be ordering by the end of the year. Some devices use 12-bit interfaces (4096 steps). Examples that come to mind are the Leo Bodnar USB interfaces, the MFG Crosswind pedals and the YOKO yokes.
