A French guy named Sébastien Augros who is not Sebastian Wloch, the Asobo CEO, wrote in FB that the team was working on seasons and that they would be available at release.

This Sébastien has no proven business link with Asobo and the information is not verified.

Did I get it right ?

Believe it or not, it actually had only been about 13 years. Something happened a long time ago when we had the Avsim hack/server crash that caused older posts to be misdated. The “Patch” topic shows as June 2002 but Ferd didn’t join until Nov 2002, 5 months after the post is dated. I joined in 2003 the topic started well after I had been a member and the post was actually around 2006-7. Still hard to belive is was more than 10 years ago. Time goes by so fast on the Ponderosa when your looking for Ponsky 😂😂
