Milviz King Air is RELEASED

Recommended Posts

I don't know of a King Air with PL21 that can SATCOM in a flight plan. I think it exists for other PL21 airplanes, but that might be a non-Collins workaround. The UNS-1 with Unilink worked like a champ and even included PDC.

Personally, I am all for entering a flight plan once and not introducing fat finger error into the process. So flight planning and then downloading the same flightplan you filed with PDC updates by ATC is the best method. Maybe ADS-B In will add that capability in the future.

Nice looking aircraft, not flown it yet.
Also trying to set up the throttle quadrant and cant find a way on how to deal with it.
My throttles are in IDLE but I want to get into the GND detent.
I use FSUIPC and the lowest value of my Saitek throttle leaves the throttle in IDLE but not the lower setting GND.

Thanks for helping (also registered for the Milviz forum, but not yet approved).

Thanks.

Bye

Jan

To those having difficulties with the AP not following the FMS route: the CDU Legs page has a Sequence Auto/Inhibit setting. Click on the LSK to get "Auto" in green.

Thanks, I can confirm that I had sequencing set to auto but no luck.  I've posted on the milviz forum.

What I have to do is have INHIBIT set to green, then once in the air I select NAV and  then select AUTO, when its set to AUTO before take off it does not follow the plan.

No

Just out of curiosity, in modelling the PT-6 free-running turbine characteristics, were you able to achieve, for instance, proper FF variation ( NILL ) with prop rpm variations at fixed condition / throttle and altitude ?

Thx

Fantastic bird MilViz. I am getting really bad flickering in the cockpit. I have tried all kinds of different display settings and nothing stops it. Anyway thank you and please enjoy some recovery time and Christmas.

1080Ti with no 3rd party shaders. I have tried with and without Vsync and it makes no difference. I get a flicker every 1-2 seconds

Have you tried disabling P3D's fullscreen optimizations? That fixed it for me.

Prepar3D v4 Properties>Compatibility>Disable fullscreen optimizations.

There are a ton of videos on youtube that walk you through actual procedures.  These will, for the most part, work with our baby.

Thanks for this great model. Could you post a few links to recommended videos?

Hi,

First class product for sure. Hovewer, would it be possible to increase the 3d poly count of the rounded switches? They look a bit outdtated... Other parts of the virtual cockpit are fantastic.

I have a 1080ti and no 3rd party shaders either.   I'm getting no flickering in the VC

i'm running nvidia driver version 441.08.

Make sure your negative LOD bias is set to Clamp in your driver settings.
