For the price there's a lot to be desired in those fronts and it's a major deception that such high priced products have these kind of "failures". It feels and sounds realistic, but it looks like a $30 addon in the cockpit. Come on, it's "just" textures, you can do much better. You are a very opinionated person I see. Either that or you just want to be "different." Or you have an agenda against top payware companies. Either way, the post you made about the NGXu and now this really shed light on how uneducated you are in these two add-ons and what actually went into producing them. Or you're just willfully blind to that fact. FAA: ATP-ME, 737 CA, enough time in the 757/767 to be dangerous 🤠 Matt Kubanda, 7950X3D, 64GB RAM, RTX 5090@4k, MSFS 2024

The A321 has great systems, but the "visuals" aren't quite up to what I'd expect for a $150+ aircraft (or even a $100 aircraft if I'm being honest). December 26, 20196 yr i agree on the visuals. All in all a great plane. But something looks very bizarre when looking at the passenger windows from the outside. 5800X3D, 4090FE, 64GB DDR4 3600C16, Gigabyte X570S MB, EVO 970 M.2's, Alienware 3821DW and 2 22" monitors, Corsair RM1000x PSU, 360MM MSI MEG, MFG Crosswind, T16000M Stick, Boeing TCA Yoke/Throttle, Skalarki MCDU and FCU, Logitech Radio Panel/Switch Panel, Spad.Next
December 26, 20196 yr Yes, systems are truly fantastic but I also agree, the VC could be much nicer. I'd love to see same level of quality as that of the PMDG 737NGXu, which is the best work I have seen so far in a simulator. On the 737 its the GPU that gets hammered. Do that on a borderline performer like the FSL and you're at risk of sinking into stutter territory. The LH md-80 actually runs well with its pbr vc but there are not as much code running at the background in comparison with the airbus.
December 26, 20196 yr Author The NGu is a good point, the new VC has bought the FPS down a huge amount, it for me now runs at the same FPS as the FSL. PMDG talked a lot about how all the “draw calls “ in the new VC put a huge amount of work on your PC unless you have a 9900k the PC will feel that new VC even more with HDR on. I think also the airbus flight deck is a boring/ bland flight deck by design. The NG old or new is a nicer place to be imo. That said imo still no other aircraft comes close to FSL, the ATSU and GSX integration on top of the sounds change as your aircraft gains alt etc. Everything about it is another level even to the new NG. Hugo’s HD VC is really nice, good enough for a naturally bland flight deck. Edited December 26, 20196 yr by Nyxx David Murden. December 26, 20196 yr Yes, no doubt about that Dave. Full immersion, full joy to fly and so much work involved in making this bird flying "as real as it gets". It is by far my favorite liner event though I am a Boeing guy and I sincerely love the new PMDG. But I still believe there is room for improving the VC without impacting too seriously the fps. It always has a cost but today's average hardware and P3D's evolution makes it easier than when the A320 was released. - PC Hardware: AMD Ryzen 9 9950X3D // Asus ROG Crosshair X870E HERO // 2x32Gb Corsair Dominator Titanium DDR5 6000MT/s CL30 // ASUS ROG Strix GeForce RTX 4090 OC Edition // 4Tb Corsair NVMe M.2 MP600 // Corsair 1600W PSU Samsung Odyssey Arc 55" curved 165 Hz monitor. - Simulator Hardware: VIRPIL Constellation Alpha Prime + VIRPIL VPC Universal Control Panel - #3 + MOZA AY210 Force Feedback Yoke + WINWING URSA MINOR 32 Throttle & PAC Metal + WINWING SKYWALKER Metal Rudder Pedals + WINWING Airbus FCU & EFIS + WINWING Boeing 3N PAP + WINWING MCDU-32 + WINWING PFP-4 + WINWING PFP 3-N + WINWING PFP-7.
December 26, 20196 yr Author David have you tried Hugo’s HD VC? It’s very nice. Yes a VC upgrade would be nice ofc. It will never be as nice as an NG VC no matter how good they make it, it’s just so bland. But a full PBR would be very nice. LK did not say they will not do it just like everything they do, they do it in there own time. But when they do..... David Murden. That's exactly how I see it on FSLabs A321. I paid for both (A320 base + A321 addon) 224,- Euro. That's the highest price that I ever paid for an airplane in my flightsim history (and the highest price on the hole flightsim market), so i expect the best of the best of the best. Let's wait and see what the soon coming updates bring us.
