What about light in houses and on buildings

Featured Replies

One thing often missed that provides an almost subliminal mental checkmark of realism is the red/green/yellow traffic lights as well as blinking lights of construction rigs, bridges, certain buildings, etc, etc......

Also; Variety! Anyone who has lived in a city knows that building/windows provide an array of colors.

Not to mention neon wonderlands like the Las vegas strip.

Hopefully the AI is pulling the night time satellite views of the lights, and using this for light placement and color.  They seem to be able to pull buildings roofs and side colors this way.

My brother has Coronavirus, confirmed by testing. On 3/26 he almost didn't survive the night.  He had extreme trouble breathing and was given a steroid inhaler.  He was very weak, had nausea, and other issues that aren't pleasant.  As of this update he is feeling much better, and seems he will be fine.  Stay safe out there.  (Updated 4/6)

Hopefully also they will populate street lights in rural areas correctly. It looks ridiculous to see street lights on country roads.  Outside cities the world is quite dark at night.

I recollect seeing  street lights at  intersections of country roads.

Sure, so we are in agreement then.  They should use night satellite images (or whatever) to infer where street lights actually exist (eg some country road intersections) and leave the rest alone.

Red, green, orange, pink, blue, even blinking neons.🚦

I wouldnt go as far as asking for blinking neons ( would be nice though)

As said, I will be happy

I like it. But I still missing red beacons on some rooftops. I know this will be made at a later date. And honestly the rest looks pretty good.

Honestly I couldn't say. Not because of an NDA either, but will check for it next December 31st!

I wouldn't be surprised if they drop the ball.  😎  But that they also have fireworks at the same time.  I wonder if times square will be full of people.  And fireworks on July 4th.

I wonder what other date related events they could do that happen in the sky?
