OK Thanks. I'll stick with 4.5 then  I'm happy with it and my addons although I can see it taking a back seat for me anyway when FS is released.

I bought V4.5 only four weeks ago 😅

No regrets though, I've never had so much fun before since I started with this hobby waaay back in 2005.

May actually pick up V5 if performance is considerably better, which it seems to be. Sloped runways sound exciting, too.

Good times ahead.

You can still get a full refund!

Two weeks as per their webpage, do you mean they might show some goodwill? 🤔

Anyway, I am really in the mood for flying right now so I'll most likely stay with V4.5 for the time being. It may also take some time for all the V4 addons to be updated and only then we'll be certain about potential performance increases.

Hmmm! If I recall correctly its used to be 30 days or maybe 60 days. Can't remember which.

If I where you I would send an email to their customer support to inquire about a refund in lieu of the V5 release so close to your purchase date.

I would be surprised if they didn't allow you to return the license for a full refund and purchase V5

It looks nice but not $200 nice. This might be a good time to start saving my pennies for a system that'll run MS2020 decently. I love P3D but my kids insist on eating every single day 🙂

LOL as the adult in the family you have to set the priorities. I do however believe that with the right training  they will do fine only eating every other day. After all we are talking about a new version of Flight Sim here!😁

How is it that so many people are forgetting that there's a $60 version?

Only if you meet the criteria. Otherwise that man in the mirror may not like you much.☺

Your point is well taken but I'm also thinking about my own personal national debt worth of ORBX/PMDG/Carenado, etc products that may or may not need upgrading. But this is a good stopping point for me since my generic system is doing everything short of Chernobyl in order to generate acceptable performance with the appropriate finagling. It's all good...down the road is a new desktop hot rod running MS2020 at quantum speeds, yes? 🙂

I'll reserve judgement on that until I see the reaction from the community after release.  Due to LM's low key marketing so far it's kinda hard to tell. 🙂

I'm willing to spring for the $200 version just to get rid of the watermark.  I hate having to edit text out of screen shots. 😄
