I’ve just followed a very interesting thread about the Curia Julia in Rome which came on my timeline and brought me to do further readings. Twitter is just a tool. June 4, 20206 yr On the tree issue (ie back on topic) try flying from Lydd (EGMD) to Shoreham (EGKA) VFR. It's impossible to recognise anything. EG Rye golf club is covered with trees (always a useful POI), Lydd itself, the coast etc is covered with trees that simply aren't there in the real world. Much work to do and it's a complete immersion spoiler. Still, it's an Alpha, let's see what transpires leading to release.

If you want to follow research then use Researchgate. It's a terrific website, that us pointy headed elites use. Reddit is a step down but is useful if you can match up your interests with a good sub. Twitter is not a serious medium for technical people. The only thing good that I can say about it is that it isn't Facebook.

But each of your posts really sounds like you have so incredible much real world experience in the field of aviation you’re for sure the one who can judge actual issues in a flight sim. I‘m excited to see how the project will progress in the coming months, with hopefully more obvious bugs being fixed and also hopefully more presentations of functionality. Sure there would be more content for future feature discovery series. Besides UI I could also think of missions for instance, even though those might not be the kinda things most simmers do most of the time. Edited June 6, 20206 yr by badderjet

June 8, 20205 yr Just now, Superdelphinus said: I don’t want to live in a world where there’s a sub forum for trees. I understand the irony but let me answer anyway. We are about 8 billions humans. There are more than 3 trillions of trees. They are by far the dominant features of Earth ground landscapes. Sebastian Wloch was legitimately proud to say that their Ai had tagged all of them (the trees not the humans 😋). Asking for these trees to be at the right scale, colors, varieties within a range of errors is only natural (pun not intended) and, in a way, pays tribute to the work already done. June 8, 20205 yr Sure but can’t we just ask the question, make the point and then leave them to it. What the F would a forum be discussing all day?
