July 13, 20205 yr Certainly a good choice (too many but this is another story) and all the aircraft of interest, for me, are in the standard package (like the airports !) ! Can't complain. Something weird is the 172 which is in the default package with the G1000 and in the 5+5 premium package without any indication. July 13, 20205 yr What baffles me is actually the amount of aircraft no one knew about. The steam gauge Skyhawk was visible in one of the older Feature Discovery videos, can't remember which one exactly though. I'm really glad it's in there, not just the Garmin one.
July 14, 20205 yr I note Asobo haven't included any regional airliners (Saab 340, ATR, Q400, E190 etc) so I think that's where my first addon purchases will be. They'll give more opportunity to enjoy the scenery versus a full size airliner whilst still doing proper airline operations. We seem very well catered for in terms of GA and bush flying but I was a bit disappointed that the DR400 is not a later 180 hp but a lowly 100 hp (hopefully someone does a tweaked FDE to simulate that). July 14, 20205 yr I miss seaplanes. We haven't seen anything about seaplane operations, so apparently it will not be possible at release. I will probably be busy flying the other aircraft for a while but it would be a shame not to have seaplane operations in that scenery, which looks to be made for bush flying. I hope seaplane operations will be added soon.

And the X-Cub has a float option as well. But I haven't seen them on the water in MSFS so far. So I wonder if the aircraft- and water-physics allow for water operations at all so far.

Hook Hmm, but You-Know-Who said few days ago that water landings weren’t possible in the new sim , whom I should believe 😇 ? July 14, 20205 yr I wonder, how could they get so many aircraft developed? Could some of them perhaps come from partners? The product description page mentions, besides Aerosoft and SimMarket, also Carenado and JustFlight. Were these partners perhaps allowed to contribute a few "light" aircraft from their repertoire for in-sim advertising in return for advertising the simulator on their web sites by linking to Microsoft's order pages? July 14, 20205 yr I do believe it is the steam gauge version C-172. Least I hope so. Not a fan of the G1000. Edited July 14, 20205 yr by Air1

I might be wrong though or it might have been some kind of placeholder. Anyway we haven't seen any seaplane in action in MSFS so far.
