July 29, 20205 yr The best flight sim related Russian saying I know is, “Two weeks, be sure”. Those with long memories will know what I’m talking about. 😄

He is no longer referred to as Rob (except rarely he's known as "the flight simmer formerly known as Rob), he's now known as "The Rob". He's also been uncharacteristically quite as of late, maybe he's hunting wabbits. July 29, 20205 yr This announcement is so odd? I've been flying the King Air for about a week or so. What exactly had been added? All menus and planes looked the same? EASA PPL SEPL + NQ / CB-IR in progress MSFS24 | X-Plane 12

There's been no change for you. Alpha participants quietly received the Beta version on July 16th. It was "announced" in that day's development update, but today marks the official release of the current beta along with the addition of those people selected to participate. This just marks the official start of the beta period.
July 30, 20205 yr Seems like the last month or so was rushed to wrap things up from a testing pov. I was also surprised not to see the 787 in the beta, guess we'll have to wait for the retail to "test" it. Overall, I'm a bit disappointed with the way things have played since alpha 5. It would have been nice if we as testers got this beta a month earlier to test it and provide feedback. Edited July 30, 20205 yr by YVRDXBLHR
