August 2, 20205 yr That video is almost as important as a checklist system itself I think. They are very helpful when they work correctly AND when the user knows how to interact with them (dumb word not allowed me may not be smart enough without a video like this). and after watching this I saw a video by Squirrel who did a night VFR flight from EGMC Southend to London City and it looked fabulous, simply fabulous as Phil Collins might say. I don't know why the SFO to Las Vegas video didnt look that good. settings? | Dave | I've been around for most of my life. There's always a sunset happening somewhere in the world that somebody is enjoying.

Don't you appreciate the night lighting he is showing us on that video? I wonder why you and a couple others here feel the need to constantly bash people who posts a video showing the sim for doing this or that wrong. That really word not allowed me off and I'm about to block you. Never blocked anyone here but you are getting on my nerves. We're all just trying to have a good time here there are going to be a lot of new comers to the area and comments like this are just embarrassing you people need to get off your high horse and just remember people will play the sim to have a bit of fun. Frankly I feel sorry for people like you. Edited August 2, 20205 yr by highflyer2020
August 2, 20205 yr Chock is quite right, and a bit of gentle correction does no harm; in fact, it's how we all learn. I'm sure most newcomers are not snowflakes, and would appreciate the wisdom of the experienced if they want to get the most out of this game / simulation. Petraeus

It's one thing gently pointing out inaccuracies to inform people and another doing it in an obnoxiously smug way. Its unnecessary and tiring to keep seeing. Edited August 2, 20205 yr by AllRed

Doesn't matter to me personally, but what does matter, is that someone who claims to be knowledgeable about flight has a youtube channel putting out stuff about it, yet is clearly bull*******g about his level of knowledge. and I don't like bull*******s And I don't care about your condescending 'feel sorry' attitude either. It's about a completely different issue. But if you want to think it is some sort of elitism I'm concerned with, then feel free to do so. You'd be wrong on that, but I guess it won't stop you.
