Orbx EU England is it worth it?

I bought EU England the day it came out but not used it for years because of the RAM and FPS hit.

Since v5 is a good performance boost, I was wondering.

1) Is EU England that much better than OLC EURO?

2) Is it a bad VRAM hit?

3) How big is its FPS hit is it these days?

Just did an easyjet flight from EHAM (FT) to EGGP (DD) what a fantastic flight it was, but go me thinking about EU England.

I tend to find it doesn't really hit P3D V5 too hard performance-wise, so I do use it.

I’ve the found the performance moderately better in V5. Although I’ve switched to TE England now, I think EU actually looks better.

Thanks Alan, installed it, no FPS hit or VRAM. It's not a huge leap over OLC up high but the detail is far better lower down.

Did a flight from EGGP to EHAM and loved the detail from EU England.

The Detail over the Mersey looking at Ellesmere Port & Stanlow. Very nice 🙂

For spring, summer and autumn I use TE GB and for winter I use EU England

i use it in V5.  the proformance is really good.

my advice is make sure the scenery layers are correct, and make sure you dont all your addon scenery activated, for me this was for me the cause of my woes with V5

I think FTX EN performance is from the "old" days since its a older product.

Try EDDF with FTX GEN/GES in the bus with FSL and Vpilot (using up to 9% CPU time on my PC) and i really have a struggle to maintain 25 fps in 4K

i agree, FSL, Aerosoft FRA. and GEN/GES is a show stopper for me.  a stuttering mess.
