August 19, 20205 yr Commercial Member "Are there any new serial keys on the horizon?" It is possible but would need to create a new installer to accept P3Dv5. That takes a lot of time so I can see why they are 5 Euro upgrades. All my sceneries already "work" in P3Dv5 - all one needs to do is point to where ever they installed for P3Dv1-4 or FSX/FSX Steam. And since my little creations are really part of a "hobby" and not so much a business I am sort of seeing how MSFS is landing before I decide to add more. (from reading it sounds like it is landing with a "thud", ha!). Need to get my PC Win10 reinstalled, reinstall P3Ds and finally grab KABQ to see how it looks with our scenery. August 20, 20205 yr So the freeware scenery that covers the city of Albuquerque and the surrounding area is so longer available? I thought I still had it on my hard drive but I can't find it. Also does the scenery work in P3D v5?

August 25, 20205 yr Commercial Member "So the freeware scenery that covers the city of Albuquerque and the surrounding area is no longer available?" No, it is not. For those who have it, it does work in P3Dv5 but has no installer for P3Dv5. You can, however easily point to the scenery if you installed it in an earlier version of P3D or FSX/FSX Steam and use it that way. August 25, 20205 yr My two cents on the Tropicalsim KABQ.... having used this location as a pit stop for a lot of trips between Vegas and the Dallas area in the Chancellor, I was pleased with the visuals of the airport, terminals, and surrounding vicinity. Not tested yet at night so I can't comment on lighting. The biggest distraction was the use of fixed jetways. In my opinion, there is no excuse to spend that much time developing a medium size airport and not include SODE jetways. I notice there is a separate bgl that places the static jetways, when I'm low on projects maybe I'll try killing that file and using GSX2 to place some usable objects. Dan Downs KCRP

But they are not installed by default. But they are there. The night lighting / PBR DL issue is a little disappointing. I mean this far along it's no longer a mystery that V5 handles the fx files differently than V4. But I agree. I had it for P3D v4, but I guess I deleted the installer or something, because I don't have it anymore. 😞

My best, Carlos Pereira. Tropicalsim. Hi Carlos: The Manual would have been a much better place to include this tidbit of information. The normal readme purpose is installation instructions and I already know how to install you products (I got most of them) so I missed this. I'm experience with the use of SODE so all I needed was the fact that it is included, which is not in the SimMarket product description or in the manual. Easy to fix. Correction: LOL I missed it... option SODE is mentioned. Edited August 26, 20205 yr by downscc Dan Downs KCRP
