A320 departing KLGA heading over NYC (resolution 2k) 50 to 60fps at high-end settings.

I think we all just read an erotic novel.....

On my end (3600, 16gb, 2070 Super, Installed on an HDD WD Black Caviar (OOS in my SSD). Playing at 2560x1440p. (An average System)

Terrain Vector Data: Ultra

Texture Resolution: Ultra

Texture Synthesis: Ultra

AF: 16x

Supersampling: 4x4

HDR10: ON

Everything else on High

Using Intelligent Standby Cleaner on the background.

RivaTunerStatistics (a well know app that takes 2 or 3 fps out)

I'm getting between 50/55 FPS (Non-Airliners), 40/45 FPS (Airliners).

My system is pretty much tuned for Sims (Hell Let Loose, SQUAD, Post Scriptum, Arma 3, Xplane, P3D), so i've been doing this for years, so lots of tips/tricks.

I'll upload a Benchmark with CapFrameX later.

Sweet!  Grew up in Brookfield, but havent lived there since 1990.  House is in sim - confirmed!

Did a bunch with X-Plane with Orth04xp and World2Xplane to build up the area - downloaded SDK and will be doing what I can in the coming months.  MSFS is simply gorgeous tho.  Not going back to X-Plane for a while.

Haha I live in Brookfield the last 13 years.  Grew up in New Milford and moved to Florida for 10 years before coming back here to Brookfield.

Good, 30 to 40+ fps on Ultra preset in GA aircraft. Have not tried airliners yet AI traffic is off. Render scale is 70% of my 4K ultrawide monitor.

Specs: i7-4930K @ 4.5GHz, 32GB DDR3 1600Mhz RAM, 2080 Super FTW Ultra. As you can see my CPU and RAM are old but GPU is new.

I was in the Alpha since the beginning and even though there were issues that may or may not still exist, it always blew my mind wondering what people would think when they finally got to play it!

Has anybody tried to use NCP and change refresh rate or even max frame rate in NCP?  In P3D locking at 30 was awesome and freed up some performance.

I wanna do the same. Id like to hand model my local airfield, perhaps even some downtown buildings like the old courthouse with the clock tower. Will be my first go at such an endeavor. I totally plan on doing some repaints though!

Do you guys know something about SDK or tools to start making airports?

just play around with one notch back in render scale, and even more, just my tip.

I know how to model in Blender and I have Substance Painter for textures and coloring. I have no clue about the SDK or the process for doing it in MSFS2020.

Thats what I plan on doing. 30 is half refresh for me. Should free up some cpu and gpu to give good performance.

Pretty impressed.  I had some more details in my custom scenery - e.g. id'd specific big-box stores (home depot, etc) and used custom facades, but this just looks so darn good.  Perhaps with some time in the SDK can try to recreate some of that.  Cant wait for VR.

More tests - NYC full ultra with cesna - 35-40fps.

NYC with A320 from LGA - full ultra again - 27-29 mosty - occasional drops into to around 23, but very playable.  Fly past the sun deck of the apartment bldg on 6th ave by the empire state bdlg that I lived in for a year.  Even had the dog park in Madison Park that I took my dog to during that time.  This is insane 🙂

Will try tests later dropping down to High.

Curious as that is what I hope/plan to do; annoyed that I could never get it to work in P3D; I hope we can use it now🙏

That gives me some hope, seeing as I have the same CPU, twice the RAM, a GPU rated only slightly behind yours, SSDs for both OS & sim, and my current monitor is only 1080p.👍
