It is completely unhelpful and not necessary. Cheers, Pete Agreed!, i think some people's head is where the sun don't shine. I7 10700K 16GB 3600MHZ RTX3080FE

August 18, 20205 yr Regarding the brake key, mine didn't release until I realized I had the controller set to XBOX. Once set to PC it worked fine.
August 18, 20205 yr Author I have two ctrl keys, I was pressing the one close to the number keypad, when in fact it was the other one I needed to press. Does anyone know what the recommended dead zone and sensitivities are for controllers? Mine defaults to zero and I can't find any info on this. August 18, 20205 yr Pete, I also have the Premium Deluxe and I have no issues whatsoever. How large was your download, should be some 100GB. Do you have the latest version of the Microsoft Store, and then of the XBox Insider Hub. I know this sounds strange, but believe me, testing this thing in Alpha and Beta was not always a walk in the park (ooops, NDA, sorry). Bernd Bernd - I did get the update for the additional content earlier today, so I am all squared away with that. The toughest thing for me is the interface, as it is so much different that I am use to. Also, the MSFS Forums are not overy user friendly, there is just stuff everywhere. August 18, 20205 yr I built a PC for my best friend this past weekend who wanted to get the new flight simulator. This guy flies heavy iron and wanted to get back into GA but didn't want to spend the money weekly to do it in real life. Anyways, we installed flight simulator last night and got him up and running with the new sim. He paid for the premium deluxe and only got the standard version due to the problems with steam. His comments about the software. WOW! This is awesome! The menus look so nice! Dude! Look at the plane in the hangar! Man fs95 wasn't anything like this! I love the scenery and flight planner! The 172 feels just like a real 172! I can't wait to get more hours on this thing! It runs so smoothly too! This guy was in 7th heaven. It was an amazing feeling to see. It was at that point I realized that many newcomers to flight simulators will have the same reaction as my friend did. Pure joy and excitement. Then I realized another thing through my friend's joy......that most users on avsim and other outlets who proclaim to be hardcore simmers will be the death of this community. I feel sorry for those users on here who literally can't look for anything positive in this software. Yeah yeah opinions....everyone has them....its just safe when it's the same people who only have negative ones when there's others who think this is the best thing since sliced bread. It was a good vacation from the word not allowed on these forums. According to the official forums, this is a known issue and they're looking into it at the moment. Of course it is a known issue, any person buying on steam has this issue.
