You could either search your Windows for CT182T or just look in your C182 install folder.  I don't have the Carenado....but example path of a default aircraft:

B:\MSFS\Official\OneStore\asobo-aircraft-208b-grand-caravan-ex\SimObjects\Airplanes\Asobo_208B_GRAND_CARAVAN_EX

If you buy the 182 it might be under Community instead of Official.

Hi Ryan, yes  have bought it and flown it.  I just can't access the flight sim files where the Caranado folder should be.

Might be a stupid question but I'll ask anyway, how do you find the Caranado 182 Manuals please?  Looked everywhere.

Thanks in advance

Okay, so that quick daylight preview vid kind of turned into a 15 min video mini review. It is uploading right now, but for some reason my intertron is going tectonic at the moment, so it might take a while to get up to youtube land.

But it's on the way, and worth watching for the joke I made about the person who downvoted that other vid. If I'd have made a comment like that on Avsim, I'd have been suspended. 🤣

Just when you thought 2020 couldn't get any more weird, we end up in a situation where everyone gets excited about a Cessna 182 from Carenado.

Thanks a mill mate.  Struth don't know how you found that but glad you did.

Thanks again

Eager to see the review! Before it’s available though I figured I’d ask if the flight model seems less flawed in the ways some of the other forum members have critiqued? I haven't flown the sim yet but the standard planes do seem to be too reactive to control inputs... I’m really hoping the 3PD’s get it right to utilize the sim to its fullest potential...

I can assure you that the term "everyone" is most definitely an exaggeration! 😜

It is twitchy, but I think adjusting the curves a bit on the elevator would tame it if you didn';t want to be a bit ginger with the controls. On the vid which is uploading, I show it on external view and give both full and half aileron deflections, then full rudder, then full elevator, and you can see its pitch and yaw response is faster than a real one would at that speed. Mind you, if you did that with the rudder on a real one, you'd probably break the tailplane off it. 🤣

I bit the bullet 2 days ago(AU time) Let's say it's a step up from the default A/C(Never thought i`d admit to this), But you can make your own mind up after Chock`s video. G1000 works, Weather radar is surprisingly accurate in vertical and horizontal profiles. And the doors and windows open....

Well, at least everyone who wants a plane on which the doors can actually open. 😄

I love how it's not looking like it's just driven out of the showroom floor!

so... Carenado is the Vanguard of quality aircraft in MSFS.  first shall be last, last shall be first, cats and dogs living together, etc...  😃  and all of a sudden Orbx can't do anything right...

Yup, that's another one for the list of bizarre things 2020 can claim.

That review video, has 20 mins left to go on uploading to YT incidentally, for anyone wondering what happened to it.
