August 23, 20205 yr I just deleted 3TB of orthos from my hard drives 🙂 What I really want to do is take off in my XP Siai Marchetti or TBM 900 and land them in MSFS. But I'm sure aircraft of that quality will be along soon. Plenty to explore in the meantime.
August 23, 20205 yr XPlane guys don't think ATC, AI, and real world weather is too important. Only flight dynamics and scenery is what matters (more so flight dynamics). I disagree - I care highly about real weather 🙂 Active Sky XP doesn’t do a horrible job despite the clouds in XP looking atrocious. ATC doesn’t matter because those of us who are in it for the realism use VATSIM anyway. Never paid any attention to AI in X-Plane for the same reason...
August 23, 20205 yr Dont forget they also tend to use the word PLAUSIBLE. Edited August 23, 20205 yr by rtodepart Image removed as image is no longer available.

August 23, 20205 yr I just said it over in another thread, but the reason X-Plane got to this size at all isn't because of their innate brilliance. It was because the #1 player left the field. Guess what? They're baaaaack. i7 8700K @4Ghz, EVGA RTX3080 Ultra, 32GB RAM, Two 2K displays. Alpha Yoke, Bravo Throttle Quadrant, CH Pedals.
