August 23, 20205 yr Set up a flight from W43 Hulett to go have a look at America's 1st national monument. Using preset weather few clouds and time set to late afternoon I took off in the yellow Zlin Savage Cub. The scenery in this particular area is excellent and is worth it to just go for a sightseeing flight. However, the monument is a bit of a disappointment. It isn't a hand crafted item, the sim does try to represent it but it's misshaped and has trees growing on top. Which is unfortunate since the rest of the area is excellent. For those unfamiliar with the monument it gained notoriety in Steven Spielberg's 1977 movie Close Encounters of the Third Kind. RE Thomason Jr.

August 30, 20205 yr Yeah I checked out Devil's Tower too and was very disappointed. I'm a bit surprised they didn't hand craft such an iconic place like that.

I'm a little disappointed that many things didn't get hand crafted models like we have seen in FS past. But again this scenery blows everything else out of the water, photogrammetry on or off.
