Carenado 182 update

Featured Replies

Looks like the Carenado 182 got an update today.  I don't own the plane but if you do, maybe the update is a nice improvement over the current version.

i5-12400, RTX 3060 Ti, 32 GB RAM

Thanks I'll check it out!

I'm surprised they even updated it

Carenado has had an update ready to go for while.. it was just waiting for Microsoft to "publish" it..

2 changes I've noticed,

1.  Liveries show up in the menu now so you can see what you're choosing.

2.  you can now hear the ATC clearly over the engine sounds where as before I had to lower engine sounds in the menu.

anyone got a change/fit log?

3.  Fixed: Autopilot no longer engages when selecting HDG or NAV.. you have to push the AP button.

4. Not fixed:  The autopilot still zig zags when following a GPS course in NAV mode

September 10th really was the due day for the marketplace updates. Also why are some people’s names greyed out?

re 1.   Yes the pictures (thumbnails) are indeed different, but the titles are all the same.. so I would say it is half-fixed..

Bert

Did they fix the bug where if you take off with the window open, or open it during flight, you instantaneously overstress the aircraft and crash?

I really want to like this plane enough to convince myself to buy it....but when I see the level of effort Carenado puts in not only to the planes....but also the "updates" that are supposed to fix issues.  It totally makes me want to rage-not-buy solely because of the company's flippant attitude towards their products, not the actual product itself.

I swear A2A cannot join this market fast enough!

I just went back to my a2a C182 for a comparison, and there is no comparison...

The mixture control on the a2a C182 works exactly right, on the MSFS C182 nothing about the mixture control is right..

Far to go, still.. 🙃
