OK I'm still getting to grips with Little NavMap. Live Weather reporting on the ground and en route was non-existent in the sim (I do have AS P3D I guess). It reported 90 degrees F at SEQM (unheard of). FSTramp would be nice. Be good to have sensitivities back if we could get it in Controls settings. But for the time being I'm a happy bunny (er... pilot). Thanks Asobo. MS was never fixed all the [word not allowed] in FSX even after 6 years when I finally deleted it from my hard drive. Ray Little nav map still not fully ready for msfs 2020. The sensitivity options missing is a head scratcher. How did they miss this one? September 17, 20205 yr Mind blown. It now seems like such a leap ahead of other sims visually. I can't wait for VR Unlike other users, I haven't seen any improvement in loading times. The time it takes to load between choosing a takeoff and actually flying is still quite long for me and I don't think it's changed.
September 17, 20205 yr About the flightplan load Issue: You have to remove the FPS Fix compiltly from your Community Folder, i did and now i am flying the 787 with the flightplan in the FMC and elswhere so it worked for me.. Just to let you know with people who have this trouble also. I think it has nothing to do with the A32NX or the B787-XE fix, mine still in there and could not see any problems right now. regards 😉 08.2024 new PC is online : ASUS ROG STRIX X670E-F GAMING WIFI Mainboard, AMD Ryzen™ 9 7950X3D Prozessor, G.Skill DIMM 64 GB DDR5-6000 (2x 32 GB) Dual-Kit, MSI GeForce RTX 4090 VENTUS 3X E 24G OC Grafikkarte, 2x WD Black SN850X NVMe SSD 4 TB - Drive C+D, WD Gold Enterprise Class 12 TB for storage HDD, Thermaltake Toughpower GF3 1000W PC - Power supply, Thermalright Phantom Spirit 120 EVO CPU Aircooler with 7 Heatpipes, Design Meshify 2 White TG Clear Tint Tower-Case, 3x 4K monitors 2x32 Samsung 1x27 LG 3840x2160, Windows11 Prof. 23H2 - now Windows11 Prof. 25H2 Flightsimulator Hardware: Honeycomb Throttle Bravo, Logitech Extreme 3D Pro, Logitech Flight Joke System, XBox Controller, some Thrustmaster stuff, Winwing CDU Panels.
September 17, 20205 yr Huge performance increase on my two year old PC. Now it is really nice to fly without any stutters or fps drops on High settings! So far one hour into the flight I havent noted any stutters at all which is really positive compared to before patch performance.
September 17, 20205 yr Im a little bit disheartened by this patch. Yes, its nice that they implemented the FPS tweaks that the COMMUNITY already had figured out, including project lasso. So no more need for them. The a320 is worse after this patch. The 748 is worse (just entered a STAR and the entire route just dissapeared), and the 78X isn't any better either. You cant populate the fmc with airways, even though it looks like it has gone in. The actual waypoints of the airway hasn't been populated. The list goes on and on. A long shiny list of not very much if you ask me. Andreas Stangenes http://www.youtube.com/user/krsans78 Add me on gamertag: Bullhorns78

It's great that they added performance boosts, but much of it was already handled by the fps tweaks glass cockpit etc. They added onto it, surely, but the working title of this patch was "the in-sim experience". September 17, 20205 yr Why don't you use simbiefe for flight plans, then you don't need to enter anything. In a Airbus A320 you use ATSU to request/import a flight plan. So instead of fighting the system import a perfect flight plan. David Murden. Allegedly the models do have seperate doors which theoretically can open, but the function is not enabled in the sim for these models although apparently will happen at some point. In the meantime, the payware Carenado Cessna 182T does have doors and windows which can open in the sim, the payware Kitfox however, does not. I do believe you are pulling my leg, but in case I missed something, when you are in the cockpit and you sit there with the FMC or MCDU: are you able to import anything? No, you are talking about the load/save function in the world map. Well, what happens when I need to change stuff around when in the sim because of vatsim clearance? Ill experiment a bit more with the load save function in world map, but I am not very fond of doing it that way. Andreas Stangenes http://www.youtube.com/user/krsans78 Add me on gamertag: Bullhorns78

Well I don't use VATSIM, but in your case I would use live flight traffic and look at what runways are being used IRL, I would think VATSIM would be most of the time using the same, make your flight in simbrief and load that flight in the map world map and you "should " be good to go. In P3D and PROATC I used what I said and PROATC 9/10 times gave just what I saw happening IRL. Just trying to save you time and headaches but if you think that's pulling your leg, then just forget what I say. I won't bother again. Sorry. David Murden. September 17, 20205 yr People that are bench marking FPS etc make sure that the test is very strict as in the same conditions, aircraft, time, weather and airport as the frame rate in this software varies wildly. My own test shows no change whatsoever FPS wise under my own test setup. To others saying they see massive FPS gains its most probably placebo!
