September 27, 20205 yr Within six months, there will be more 3090's out there than 8k displays! Have you seen the prices of them? You could by a decent car for the same price. Also, calling the 3090 a gaming card is considered as incorrect and a bit disingenuous by most in the PC gaming/testing sectors (Gamers Nexus etc.). Watch the videos for an explanation why. It is a workstation card, or a gaming card for the seriously wealthy only! I certainly couldn't afford one. Also, the 20GB 3080, may will have larger VRAM for the applications that need it (especially things like MSFS @ 4k and DX12 etc.) but they haven't promised a speed increase along side that, so it won't challenge the 3090 for outright speed. Rob (but call me Bob or Rob, I don't mind). I like to trick airline passengers into thinking I have my own swimming pool in my back yard by painting a large blue rectangle on my patio. Intel 14900K in a Z790 motherboard with water cooling, RTX 4080, 32 GB 6000 CL30 DDR5 RAM, W11 and MSFS on Samsung 980 Pro NVME SSD's. Core Isolation Off, Game Mode Off.
