This patch is just the tip of the iceberg against what is needed, f.i. the ATC is something which needs a whole patch for it, 180-190 fixing points are mandatory to use it, otherwise it will be abandoned like live wx which is good only within REX.

Thanks for the report. Sadly it seems that this issue has not been fixed, which makes me wonder what the patch note was about. Probably a leftover from the previous patch. I guess I'll file a bug report about it.

They're going to be doing updates for years, be patient.

Rex already fixed the wx, no time for the ATC either, that’s too late. Pilot to ATC is injecting and just like REX will render FS ATC something to forget soon.

Next update is coming around 15 October according to the latest Development Roadmap. They're doing two per month it seems.

Can it be forced from the GPU settings?  If so its less of an issue for me

There is definitely still some AA. Maybe it is not as good as in 1.8.3
