I really dont understand what do you want. i quate from your link

World Update I: Japan features upgraded digital elevation mapping across the entire country, high-resolution 3D photogrammetry for six prominent Japanese cities (Sendai, Takamatsu, Tokushima, Tokyo, Utsunomiya and Yokohama), and six exquisitely hand-crafted airports (Hachijojima, Kerama, Kushiro, Nagasaki, Shimojishima, and Suwanosejima). Throughout the environment, new countryside and pagoda-style architecture has been added, along with nearly two dozen custom landmarks & POIs that invite you to explore the area’s timeless World Heritage sites, towering neon skyscrapers, iconic bridges and sacred shrines.

You have to download the Japan content update free from the marketplace, separate from the patch download.

welp, guess i gotta stop checking bing for 3D updates. looks sick.

Ok, so the LOD is basically super low even at 200, you can clearly see where it ends, it goes from buildings to blurry (and the blurry distance, as evidenced in the new opening screen of what I believe is mount Fuji, well thats another matter!). And the TAA, leaves a lot to be desired. Is there any way to force better AA?

bush flying completion seems to be broken still...

For the first time I had thunder and lightning in Live Weather.

Indeed, although i'm not entirely sure it's spawning where it's supposed to be.

Saying that, my flight that I just did from Shizuoka to Tokyo was so enjoyable with lightning for the first part that i've called the fuel truck and i'm gonna go back and try and chase it down!

It seems to match where it should be IRL, but the clouds aren't. So I got lightning coming out of nowhere sometimes.

Tbh my quick research was to check lightning detectors around the area Shizuoka>Mount Fuji>Tokyo but there didn't seem be any recent activity, yet it was in the sim. It could be there are no detectors in the vicinity, i've no idea really.

Simply WOW. To see Tokyo now, the ai was simply an insult to this city !

Yep, it was messed up in the last patch. I posted a suggestion earlier, which is to go to NVIDIA control panel, select AA mode as "override application setting", apply FXAA and 8x anti-aliaising. This works better than TAA currently does, even though TAA used to do the job even better than that. It also works a heck of a lot better than the FXAA built into the sim, which is shocking.

The other interesting thing about overriding the sim's AA is that I can now use 2K resolution without a performance hit, it seems...

And, what setting do you use in the sim? Does it need to be off or does it just get override? Many thanks!

At that point if you are doing that I would recommend keeping it off  in the Sim.

The setting in the sim looks like it's still on TAA so I haven't touched it (you'd think it would be greyed out), but it still overrides it.
