LOD and AA were already broken by the previous patch.

never worked for me. at least before this patch. no matter where you select live weather (flight conditions, live setting... even if it shows rain in the mini screen after selecting, once you start the flight it´s always clear weather. 

But if have found a working workaround other than restarting the sim, please provide exact description of what you are doing where. Would be much appreciated by a lot of ppl I assume.

Can anyone say, or speculate, on why Malaga Airport was censored in the first place?

LOL. Purely at random I went to Kadena (RODN) and thought it looked very strange (empty with no aircraft or ground crew). Looked like a bug so I checked on Google earth. Oops, it's an airforce base and indeed is just a series of parking bays!

Same situation for me, and it has been reported and confirmed on the discord chat.

Hopefully they are working to fix it, as the A320NX is really all I have been flying.

Or maybe this is a good time for me to try out some other a/c!!

Not for me, but then again I don't have my lod at 200 and aa maxed out

What is the difference between fixing the issues and the "core" simulator?  There is a pretty comprehensive fix list. And nothing indicates they are done fixing it.

Turboprop (even dropped out of the list), control sensitivity, system simulation, flight models... there is so much fundamental missing or flawed at the moment that the improvements seem miniscule.

Unfortunately for some it's never enough.

Geez we now had 3 major patches and a world update ffs in just over 1 month and still some people focus on the negative!!!  Shakes head in disbelief.....

To be perfectly fair the turboprop stuff is ranked pretty high.  I am no expert on such things so I cannot comment to the accuracy of it but it is in the top 10 but didn't get a mention this time around.  I mean I consider it all part of the sim I don't know if I would call that "core" core to me would be like fundamental engine issues like "Because they use X for Flight Modelling Y can never be done properly" which I have not really seen to be an issue but that's just me.

From what I could infer in the latest development update, the core simulation will be improved with the Simulation Updates every 2-3 months. Maybe the first one will be in October (with paid DLC following in November). If they're going to make updates that affect nearly the entire aircraft roster perhaps the longer development cycles are more suitable for this case, though I would really appreciate some incremental improvements to the control sensitivity already. Hopefully the first Simulation Update will not disappoint.

Remember to at least temporarily move your mods that might relate to anything that has been patched out of the sim.  Give your sim a fresh start and remove aircraft mods, as you can't expect an update done to a previous version to work with the new fixes properly.  Give those great modders time to update their work to the latest patch.  Repaints and scenery (assuming it wasn't changed) should be ok.

Military operations, and it's still censored, MSFS only has the civilian half modelled.
