When I start the sim, it says I have to download the patch and it takes me to a web page where I am not finding a link to the patch Why do they make this so hard? sheesh! You need to wait for the addon makers to get the patch, see what has changed, and update accordingly. It's impossible for Asobo to not break addons when they update the sim, and they can't take every single addon into account when they do updates that would also be impossible. I originally bought it from MS webpage Manny Is the 'web page' the Microsoft Store? It should be. If so, somewhere on that page will be a 'play' icon that you need to press to start the download.
