Patch 1.9.3.0

Ah CTD. My first. I was taking the Japan tour and then something strange. My hat switch behaved differently. When I am in the cocpit and look at the right window it doesn't stay there, it wants to recenter in the front and my house cannot be used to view forward like when I need to see for a visual landing. And same thing at the external view. It wants to position at the back slightly above the tail... when I move it around to see to the side and when I release my finger of the hat switch it wants to recenter. I don't belive it was behaving like when I started the flight and then CTD BANG!

restarted and the hat switch is working normally...but don't want to take the long trip from Nagasaki to Narita again.

It's only TAA that doesn't work as well as before; FXAA and DLAA are the same as always.

AA was not perfect from the start, but, for me, it did not get worse.

One new and minor addition for me, not in the patch notes:

There is now a shortcut "Control + Enter" for starting your flight from the flight selection/world map screen. Not sure if that shortcut was already active and they've just put it on the screen as info, but it isn't on my printout of sim commands as far as I could see.

Dunno if placebo but my sim looks and performs better.

Same here. With my i5-2500 and an old 560TI I sense better performance. Flew around some islands in Japan and even with / despite my basically low settings the sim performs and looks great for me. Will change once the 1660 super arrives tomorrow. The big hardware refresh was postponed to next year when a PMDG release comes in sight.

Seems to me they broke the 320 AP. Will not hold LNAV or manual heading, just drifts to the right after a while.

Most definitely. Loving the waves. It’s the most noticeable improvement for me.

TBM goes up and down when on AP, stops at 2x and 4x time compression, then resumes at higher time compressions...

Textbook flawless update. No mods. No tweaks (I made the assumption the software engineers knew better than I how to build it).

Cheers

So my update went perfectly. But I did move all my community folder content out prior to the update. In any case, it was drama free.

Did you really need to post all of that?

Thanks SierraDelta - I was actually worried that I had made it on to your ignore list - but life's good and better knowing you still care. . .
