Downloaded for me in about 30 minutes, beautiful new patch screens, kudos Asobo to your marketing department. New Japan scenery was available right away. 

Bummed that the Citation Longitude didn't get fixed.

Being a live service title, i can only assume it is forcing an update so it matches other clients on server. Could be a measure in place to deny pirated copies access to online features.

12 min download including Japan - have to test tonight - very nice update process thru steam - feels like might have to back of graphic settings with new update but only spent few mins on it - have to pay the bills

Could anyone check a couple of things for me? Still not done downloading the first 1GB of the patch even. I'm interested in the manual cache UI improvements and the appearance of water waves at reasonable wind speeds (broken with last patch).

I think you meant to reply to someone else. I don't have any problems downloading and installing!

So this how they got around the censorship around Malaga, only the one runway is available.

Is Tokyo supposed to be fully photogeometry ? Because i still see it as AI.

No I was talking to you. After Japan content downloads you'll need to restart for the icons to update properly on the map, or at least I did.

Waves were much better using real weather not the predefined weather scenarios still glass - you have to manually add wind and a lot to get it working then your aircraft is all over the place

nowhere do they state that it is fully photogrammetry. DEM updates across the islands see more accurate elevation data and graphical tweaks with architecture to scenery in the area is what i picked up from reading patch notes.

By the way how is the Anti Aliasing? There are some reports in the official forum that somewhat now is broke (don't quote me, just saw few comments in the discussion thread in the official forums)

15 minutes for the almost 9 GB patch to download, decompress, and install files.

in game within Market Place, downloaded the Japan Update of 1.51. GB's at 3 minutes.  You must press BUY (but it is FREE, and that starts the download install sequence)
