A new install on a different install folder will only download the mandatory content and will require a reboot (non mandatory content can be downloaded from the Content manager)

This looks like a really solid patch. 

The ocean masking seen in some of the world trailers is here it seems

A320n screens turning off randomly is still not fixed according to the Known Issues section

Did you really need to post all of that? 

quite a list. Still downloading the 8gig chunk here. I just noticed after the 6mb core update from the store that my warning message „your system does not meet the minimum requirements“ popped up much faster than before. Overclocked my old i5-2500k to 4ghz and was able to do smooth flight around Kelowna and St. Barths, now just waiting for my interim 1660 super to arrive to figure out Japan on the weekend 😉

Still not done reading the patch notes and surprised at the amount of improvements. This is like Service Pack 1 all over again, except much, much earlier.

Asobo really knows how to pack a punch when it comes to these updates and patches! Excellent work! Definitely not lacking at all!

Japan is an additionally 1.51 GB in the Marketplace.

I like this addition to the Content Manager:

 

hehehe 661MB in less than 3 seconds I remember when that would have been hours, Looks like the 8 gigs will take ~5 minutes total.
