Is there a thing such as broken but useful  🙂

It can be useful until its broken. Lets just say that in my case even if it worked, it would still be useless to me 😄

Mine stopped working (not flying in developer mode) and I found that after I made some changes to my graphics settings and saved them the log started updating again. Maybe that gave it a bit of a kick in the pants.

Just checked mine. INOP

MSFS

My last 8 flights have been recorded but all of the landing airports are "Vicinity" with no landings recorded..

Same, every flight records as landing in the vicinity of some airport, but not the one I landed at.

I gave up on the logbook early on because I could not delete entries or edit them in any way.

MSFS 2024. Primary Planes: Black Square TBM850, Duke, Baron, Caravan; A2A Comanche; FSReborn Phenom; Fexix A321; PMDG 737-7, 777: Utilities: Active Sky (Passive Mode); BATC, FSLTL.

Thank you to the Mod who merged the threads.👍

SSD:  Corsair Force MP510 (for OS);  2x 1TB & 1x 2TB Sabrent Rocket Nvme PCIe 4.0 (one for sim, two for addons)
HDD:  Seagate 3TB (Data); Seagate 1TB (Programs), ASUS TUF Gaming VG32VQ1B Curved 31.5" monitor, 1440p, 38Mbs ethernet

Fulcrum One Yoke, Honeycomb Bravo throttle, Thrustmaster Airbus TCA sidestick & throttle, Logitech Pro pedals, Xbox wireless gamepad (1st gen)

Spoke to soon, stopped working again.😡

I posted about this issue few days ago and it was mostly ignored 😄

My latest three hour flight was logged 1 hour.

Then I did a 1 hour flight and it wasnt logged at all.

All my flights are from engine start to engine stop and shutdown with cehcklists.

I am not using developer mode and use a vanilla sim.

Patch #3 seems to have broken more things than fixing...

Probably because there were at least 3 existing threads on the same subject until I requested they were merged yesterday.😉

My experience is while in Dev Mode NO Logging but otherwise it’s been working normally for me.

it's weird the patch has broken some things for other and some for others.

Today I got my first PFD freeze.

For the past few days my landings are also in the vicinity of. Flight time seems to be logged ok but the takeoff and landing count is random, records some, ignores many.

Not sure if this is a cure for this problem or not but I may have found a work around for this problem.  My last 9 flights didn't log the proper landing airport and did not log my landings.  Today I updated the LittleNav Map in order to be able to upload a flight plan into MSFS 2020.  So I filed a flight plan and uploaded it, flew it and the log book logged it perfectly.  So from now on, that is what I'll be doing at least until the problem is fixed.  This may or may not be a work around..  Just wanted to let people know what might work.

Same for me today on a flight from Ft Myers to Lakeland, FL.  The 30 minute flight was logged as from KFMY to [23FL] .  That is a private airport near Sun City/Wimuama, Florida, 26 miles SW of KLAL.  I had a perfect approach and landing, stayed glued to taxiway markings, and parked clearly within a marked parking space.
