October 13, 20205 yr Hi, Looking for feedback/reviews on the current state of this aircraft as I'm looking to add an airliner to the hangar... I own the top complex airliners (FSlabs, PMDG, Maddog) and the less complex ones (CS, feelthere etc...) but avoid carenado due to lacking systems. Where does this aircraft stand in the above? Is it already in a polished state? Thank you Shom MSFS2024 running on Win 11, 4K screen, Z790 AORUS ELITE AX-W, i9-14900K, MSI 3080Ti, Corsair 2x32GB 6000 MHz, 1+2TB M.2 NVMEs

October 13, 20205 yr I wouldn't invest in any Aerosoft plane addon for P3D right now. They seem to have lost any interest in P3D and supporting their products (and it's not like they were any good about fixing bugs in the first place). On top of that they're being quite smug about it so there's that. 😉

Pity, but i will not buy anything from them for any of the sims.. so you can loose customers Carsten U
October 13, 20205 yr I'm somebody who likes to fly multiple types. The PMDG 737/747/777 (soon hopefully on the 777 for V5). The Maddog. TFDi 717. FSLabs A319/A320/A321. CS767 sometimes. Majestic Q400. I have the QW787 but don't fly it too much. I've had a hard time with the A330. When I find myself thinking I would want to fly it, I then always would rather fly the FSLabs. Even if a totally different mission. But it's systems/ATSU/GSX integration etc. Just so much more immersion. 5800X3D, 4090FE, 64GB DDR4 3600C16, Gigabyte X570S MB, EVO 970 M.2's, Alienware 3821DW and 2 22" monitors, Corsair RM1000x PSU, 360MM MSI MEG, MFG Crosswind, T16000M Stick, Boeing TCA Yoke/Throttle, Skalarki MCDU and FCU, Logitech Radio Panel/Switch Panel, Spad.Next

October 13, 20205 yr The shared cockpit is fantastic. The amount of work over the last 18 months they have put into... Ahhh wait, hold on a sec.
October 14, 20205 yr What's the issue with it again? I'm using it for V5 HF2 without any issues, but then again.. I just enjoy flying from Point A->B. Not into study level much. There's PMDG for that. Just make sure you enable experimental updates so you get all the latest patches. Edited October 14, 20205 yr by jmrtlara Romano Lara
October 14, 20205 yr It’s OK. Definitely not “professional” though. Aerosoft is also distracted with FS2020 so support is virtually nonexistent & of course any new features/improvements are not going to happen. Also, there has been no word on the other engine variant(s) or the -200. If you are going to get it, wait for it to go on sale somewhere. Edited October 14, 20205 yr by Dreamflight767 A. Well as a past A320 user I get a pretty nice discount otherwise I agree I would probably pass this Shom MSFS2024 running on Win 11, 4K screen, Z790 AORUS ELITE AX-W, i9-14900K, MSI 3080Ti, Corsair 2x32GB 6000 MHz, 1+2TB M.2 NVMEs

Is it already in a polished state? Thank you Generally, it's a nice plane to fly with a gorgeous cockpit. However, just like all of their other Airbuses, it suffers from an inherent issue whereby its FBW implementation is coupled with, and totally reliant upon, a frame rate that is consistently above 18fps. Any dip below this even for a short period of time, eg, weather injection, AI injection, can cause the a/c to suffer very erratic behaviour, resulting in an uncontrollable plummet into the ground. It can be mitigated to a certain extent if you are constantly sitting at your machine and,as I have found, you hit the Pause key for a few seconds when things start heading South. But don't turn your back on it...
October 15, 20205 yr Commercial Member Mine has been gathering dust for quite some time. Doesn’t appear to be getting many (if any) updates. As others have said, lingering bugs and not “study level” despite the “professional” moniker (like the CRJ). Sure wish they would have at least made the other engine variants and the -200; at least they did that for the A32x series. Aerosoft had a specific commercial request to create a Rolls-Royce Trent 700-engined A330-300 add-on. IIRC, the performance data was given to them for that specific model and engine combination only. Matthijs was rather definite in stating that no other variant would be forthcoming even before MSFS became a thing. The AS A330 is taken out for the occasional spin, though I prefer using the QW787 as a long-haul airliner from my virtual collection.
