October 16, 20205 yr @raymar That's ok Ray... you've forgotten more about flight than I will ever know... that makes up for almost everything! Rob- I was just getting ready to complain about holding one wing up when I realized this was new, and THEN REALIZED I needed to change tanks! BRAVO ZULU! ... and for all of the Orbx fans... here's Vashon...the Trolly Dolly wanted a pound of her favorite brew from SBux so we stopped over at SEA. We need a better Mixture system for sure. Ray As said many times before, the only person to create a mixture routine that is better is the person who hacked into source code. There are almost no parameters available to tweak. Just a couple that set fuel flow/consumption max and min, and another parameter which can tweak this globally. Give me the params and I will tweak, but if there are no params I am tweakless. Robert Young - retired full time developer - see my Nexus Mod Page and my GitHub Mod page
October 16, 20205 yr I have no G36 time, but I did manage to bum a few hours in an A36 when I was gassing aeroplanes in my youth... and I stood a bit taller, and walked a bit straighter, when I'd get out of her... there's something about a Bonanza... pilots wax on rhapsodically about harmonized controls and solid feel. If you want to experience this for yourself, albeit at a slightly lower price point... give this a go! I held her off the ground, felt speed decay, felt her get heavy and then painted the mains onto the concrete... simply sublime... none of the twitchiness and elevator frenzy of old... @Asobo Asobo- ARE YOU WATCHING THIS- please get some FDE assistance from @robert young. The result will TRANSFORM YOUR CUSTOMER'S FLIGHT EXPERIENCE! this KSEA ain't shabby either.. can you just see Mount Rainier in the distance... box stock. October 16, 20205 yr Robert - it's a real pleasure to see your name "in the lists" again and see the community respond to your handiwork. Up until last month I was still flying some of your work from "way back" in the FlyII sim (specifically, the Citabria). Also, the Seneca, which I believe you put a lot into with Peter Sidoli. I also recall with fondness your wonderful touch in bringing more realism with the default aircraft of Fly!2K, such as the Hawker, King Air, Learjet, Mirage, Navajo, C172. I have noted your success and popularity in the MSFS world when you moved the focus of RealAir into that realm. I'm looking forward to flying your mod (tho I have a long way to go learning a whole new sim application). Randall Rocke
October 16, 20205 yr Hey Working Title G1000 Team. Could we get an adjustment on the 2,700 rpm warning. (flashing red and white)? 2,700 rpm is THE RECOMMENDED climb parameter for our Turbo Normalized Bonanza. Maybe make it 2,750 rpm or suppress the warning altogether. Thanks. When Pigs Fly . The red warning can be useful though Ray (and BTW it is not the G1000 team's fault - I think it is a baked in Asobo flag if the prop governor allows the rpm to go even 1 revolution per minute faster temporarily). But turning it to good use, it is quite a good indicator of lean peak as it turns red when your mixture control acquires it!
