I have however cleared the communist /community folder. Wil start moving things back and see what happens.

The other day I wanted to clear out my communist folder to look for a conflict causing a CTD, and when I tried to move the files back in it said the owner doesn't allow that, or something like that. Had to do a complete reinstall of KORD and KEFW.

I have had other problems with that folder too, adding liveries to aircraft. Anybody else?

Not really, if you get away from major towns all the back roads now have street lights.

Have worked out the new sensitivity curves I think, but there seems to be a bug or two. I get some strange kinks in the curve that make no sense and setting just a touch of deadzone smooths it out. I think I'll report to Zendesk. What it did to my previous curves was quite funky and led to some embarrassing over r stressing of my plane.

AA does seem to have a little hit to FPS but may be plane-specific. Much more noticeable in the TBM compared to the Cub. Probably more polygons in the former's cockpit.

First flight out of ORCAS at dusk and I can see a definite change/improvement on how the water looks.

Off to investigate some more, but all up looks like an excellent patch and the 10% improvement in the next patch that they talked about in the live stream yesterday will hopefully claw back some of the AA fps loss.

They said during the Q&A that lighting is based on their data set. Those roads might be undefined, or not defined properly in their data (which is probably OSM)

There are mod that allow easier management of the community folder.

 

I haven't had any CTDs (yet). I didn't remove anything from my community folder before updating either.

I'm on the Steam version.

CTD here as well.

Tried everything, empty Com folder.

Latest Win Update, Nvidea update as well.

Now reinstalling the whole shebang....

3.66GiB out of 95 initially.

Hopefully this will work. Then install all my additions again

For those experiencing CTD. Although it just attends to the launcher, try right clicking on the game's icon in the Windows Start panel, choose More and then App settings. Then click the Repair button. Worth a try.
