Featured Replies

Don't know about this one, but the one on Flightsim.to by TommyXr is really quite good. He has done alot of work on that airplane.

@robert young

Too bad this had to be suspended :(

I've been trying to find aircraft for MSFS which actually feel like aircraft rather than toys and was very happy when I found your mod for the G36. It really transformed the default model in a very good way!

Then someone suggested I should try the modded DA62 and when I went searching for mods, I found the DA62X mod but also to my great joy this mod from you.

Based on my experience with your mod for the G36, I would have loved an equally excellent mod for the DA62 but guess I'll have to try out that other mod for now at least.

We will be testing for compatibility with the latest Asobo update and all being well I will upload this around the coming weekend.

Whatever happened to this mod?

I believe (based on no evidences / facts, just my guess... ) Rob realized the state of the MFS Flight Dynamics engine, interface, documentation ...are still very rough and inadequate to replicate good quality / acceptable aircraft performance.

MFS is still pretty much just the Looks, very basic in the Feels ....

I've given up on MFS. Maybe in a year or so I will revisit it...

Hope you make a good amount of money with your ability to look into other humans brains!

If you read Rob's past posts, you too could extrapolate without being a mind reader. 😀

We should all be grateful that we got the Turbo Mod. We practically took the poor guy out of retirement. 😀

Right now we have the new JF Arrow, Spitfire, & CRJ to enjoy. Let's move on.

Hard to believe. According to the announcement, this was ready to drop.

I think that the AP issue introduced by an update, when it was ready to drop, was the straw that broke the camel's back.

I really do not like if people do extrapolate and interpret what someone else could/should be thinking.

You guys "extrapolate" and state this as facts like Rob himself would have made that statement.

Fact is, Rob has posted three month ago and we all do not know why he isn't joyining AVSIMs discussion or further develop his mods. And for sure there are a dozen other reasons that he is behaving in that way he does, instead of vanishing without a word because FM is not adequate.

Maybe it is so or it is not the reason. We simply do not know!

Gentlemen-

I have the greatest personal respect for each of you.  May I just say Rob has personal reasons he isn't able to devote time to further development currently, and could we please just leave it at that?

Should the situation change, none would be happier than I.

Maybe you don't like it, but he has preferred to stay silent. I prefer transparency. Just come here and say, "I'm no longer interested in MSFS. Thank you for your support." OR whatever! Staying silent keeps speculations and extrapolations alive.
