I started out with the DA62 being my favourite MSFS aircraft (despite its shortcomings) I then found your Bonanza and it replaced the DA62 instantly as the best of the best.

A smart pilot would stay current in both... 👻

Does this mean the working title g1000 mod will conflict with your mod? I use that mod for all planes that have the g1000.

We'll be testing the G1000 mod and if there are any glitches I'll post the results. But it should be fine. It's a very reliable mod.

Very nice Robert. That last Livery is a real beauty in my eyes (they are all nice). There is a project called DA62X(on the main forum) as I am sure you are aware. I have been flying that version, and he has done something to implement a type of fadec. Perhaps you can get in touch with him to see what logic he is using. Looks great, can't wait to give this a go. You have a way of making these airplanes just feel right.

Not entirely relevant Sir, as I most certainly will be doing that, and, I am not incredibly smart LOL

Coupled to which, is keeping up with P3D and XPlane.

As stated .... not enough hours in the day.  

Further, I simply wanted to express my gratitude for Roberts commitment to these aircraft and MSFS.

I know of that mod. Fadec doesn't work properly on the Asobo Diamond. What the X mod chap has done is to assign F keys to the Fadec function. I did consider this but I think personally that unless a Fadec is properly implemented (ie using the throttles rather than a fictional key press) I'd rather not use it. That is no criticism of the DA62X dev, who is obviously very creative in his solution, but it's not for me. Also, it is never going to be a proper FADEC unless either a genius or Asobo come up with proper source coding that achieves it.

So I think there is a list of much more important things to get right before a Fadec, which is really an auto mixture and rpm controller combined. But we have an rpm controller already. Anyway - that's my excuse!

The newest mod incorporates prop control (fadec) into the throttle so it is seamless, and works pretty well. I never tried it with the F keys, thats not realistic to me.

Ah, That's interesting. I will investigate it. Thanks for the info. EDIT. Just had a look at his version 2.01 (which is the latest) He has implemented partial fadec via an automatic prop control that is based on a feedback loop. Clever stuff. But the full fadec is still reliant on pressing F2 and F3 keys.

To be honest, I did not understand it ... I had to get my reading glasses after your response. Also to be honest again, my response was not a reaction to offence taken by your comment. In fact, I rather liked it. We may have got off on the wrong foot/feet here LOL Nothing you said offended me in any way.

I just wanted to get in the extra bit of praise to Robert for his work too,

By the way, I never extend my regards if I am offended.  I may leave it out occasionally but if I have the "regards" or "Cheers" bit in there, I am not upset.

Thanks, a worthy successor to the Vertex DA 62 in P3D. The Vertex was one of my favorites.
