Been patiently waiting weeks since you first announced it would be a project of yours. Many thanks.

Thank you.

MSFS

Can’t wait to check it out Robert! The liveries are great looking. I’ve been flying this plane almost exclusively as I own it in FSE, and felt this plane really needed some love and attention. In XP11 Aerobask made a stunning DA-62 and I’ve been really missing it as I keep adding hours flying the stock one in MSFS.  Looking forward to your upgrade!

Excellent news! Were you able to adjust the huge amount of power needed to get the plane rolling from a stop in the Asobo version? Even the community mod on the Flight Simulator forum requires near 20% power just to get the plane rolling from a stop. That's better than the ~60% in the stock plane, but still seems suspiciously high. I could be wrong, though, since I've never flown one in real life.

* No more sluggish take off. The propeller coefficients have been meticulously re-written for a good healthy take off run.

Incredible list of improvements.  Outstanding!  Cannot wait.... will be dreaming tonight that I am already flying it...

One question.  On the no more sluggish takeoff.  Is that the ground friction issue resolved?  The 62 has taken 75% to 80% throttle just to get it rolling for taxi.

Answering both the above posts:

The stronger ground friction in MSFS is a challenge as it means nearly all prop aircraft require unusual amounts of power to get moving. No-one has found a way to reduce the hard code friction. But my prop mod has overcome this. However you have to be careful when tweaking this, because once they are moving with better low down power, they also keep rolling at idle throttle, so it is a balance between the two. But the short answer is yes. My mod will enable the DA62 to take off with a light load in 16-17 seconds and around 21-22 seconds with a fuller load, which is just about spec. It will also roll with much less initial power.

This compares with 26 seconds in the default and its very sluggish acceleration.

Fantastic.  And I am a big fan RY.

The taxi should be no issue.  Have lots of practice in the TDv2.

Excellent.  I stopped flying this one shortly after one of the alphas because the power on takeoff was so wrong....and climb etc.

Robert,

Will you PLEASE stop doing this to me.

I started out with the DA62 being my favourite MSFS aircraft (despite its shortcomings) I then found your Bonanza and it replaced the DA62 instantly as the best of the best.

Now I am going to have to go back to the DA62. This is NOT fair mate.

Another alternative suggestion for you is to temporarily stop your work on both these aircraft and try to find a way to cram some more hours into the average day, so that I/we can maximize my enjoyment of both your aircraft.

Enough said mate, I am (as an aged pensioner on a very limited budget) going to save a few pennies and donate them to you for your wonderful work. I simply cannot thank you enough.

Thanks too, for the co-operation of the WorkingTitle team whose own work is absolutely brilliant.

Regards

Tony
