It works very well in P3Dv4, 5 also and looks good, I advice it. Is the support still active for this. No updates since 2007. Seriously that is from 13 years ago, Maybe Flight1 is just collecting the money here. I won't advise it as it is FSX and P3Dv5 has way too many changes How I Evaluate Third Party Sim Addon Developers Refined P3Dv5.0 HF2 Settings Part1 (has MaddogX) and older thread Part 2 (has PMDG 747)

If a news regarding openLC Asia is to be delivered by Orbx, it can be only a positive one since the last time they announced that they abandon/pause the project. I cross my fingers. This is the link but it's a long going subject https://orbxsystems.com/forum/topic/191608-poll-an-openlc-solution-for-asia/page/4/?tab=comments#comment-1723566 I quoted Ed - verbatim but its somewhere in the file

I don't know if it's still useful since there will be news next week, but I voted to the poll to say that I would buy an Open LC Asia for the entire continent. FS2024

There won’t be previews etc. but our plan on it’s rollout over the next 12 months."

Don't get me wrong - something is better than nothing, but this sounds a lot like we should expect many more delays and perhaps a phased rollout depending on which regions they were able to acquire good data for. I am assuming they are going with another thirdparty devs to make it - no idea regardless it will be under the Orbx banner and that is one product I will buy on Day 1. Yay, Orbx!!!! My guess is that they will divide this area into 2-4 packages and release one every 3-6 months. I hope that I'm right as I really don't want to wait another year, at least, for them to make a single package for the entire area. November 18, 20205 yr I don't want to wait 12 months for the whole area either. I would be fine if they released smaller packages in smaller time intervals. If ORBX had stayed faithful to their roadmap announced in 2014 with the first release of OpenLC Europe, today we would have OpenLC Mars covering the whole planet. 😁
November 18, 20205 yr Author jaytee73 : many thanks for updating us. I did not quite understand if the roadmap will be presented this year or later? The roadmap will probably answer to the question "one delivery for the whole Asia or several small deliveries ?". In case of several deliveries, it hope it will be no more than 2-3. I can remember that in the past, there was first openLC USA, then Alaska/Canada, and later one and only product for North America. FS2024

I prefer everything or nothing. The risk with smaller packages is that after 1 or 2 they stop. I don't want to have 50% of Asia. FS2024

I'm most interested in their zone 3 and I will certainly buy 1 and 2 zones at "at early-bird prices" to support Orbx if they firmly commit to deliver zone 3 later.
