What a superstar you are! It is amazing what you have turned this project into 👍

Thanks, but important to remember this is a community project with many, many contributors. Making the real time version would be impossible without the magic of Kai from Alpha India Group and our friends and data providers from Fleetmon.com. On the model side the list of contributors is long. Right now I am working converting Larry Robinson's ships and writing with him the other day he confirmed, what I had already guessed looking at his amazing textures - he had gone out to see all of the ferries and do photos for the textures. And where he could not get access he had people from the community helping him with images. For me this is one of the beauties of this project working with dedicated and passionate people from all over the world; in these times it is more necessary than ever.

I think we will launch before I get to them as real models... But in the real time version you will have ferries on the route as the engine will pick the one most similar in size if we have one which within 10% - and that should be the case.

For now, I just have the plan to convert the last of Larry's ships and then do a small double ended ferry which we can use in many places in the real time traffic.

But once we have launched the beauty of the real time traffic is that we don't need to create routes - we can just add models with their respective IMO and get them on the right route straight away.

More ships...

First one promoting our AIS data provider Fleetmon.com 😄

And then continuing the Pacific Northwest where I finalized transforming all Larry Robinson's models - combining mine and his we have almost the entire fleets from BC Ferries and Washington State Ferries

They look excellent, as do all the models. I'm testing with SU11 beta at the moment, and it seems to be working.

real-time traffic will provide all boats on the world ?😮

well - we don't have all the ships modelled yet... I think I miss around 300.000, so they won't be ready this week, not the next... 🤪 But we do have around 2300 ships now including repaints and divided on almost 800 unique ship models. As we have data on all ships emitting AIS signals we allocate our models according to first direct hits with the real ship based on their IMO or MMSI registration; if we don't have a direct hit we match ship type and size and if we have a model within 10% on size and type is correct the ship will display. For some types and sizes we don't have a model so nothing will display, but in general you will get a lot of ships...

@KL791 I can't get GAIST v2.15 to work with SU11 beta unfortunately. Tried several times and the issue seems reproducible: with GAIST there's a CTD while loading a flight; without there's not.

Impressive ! AIS speaks to me, it's like a ship's transponder, I think? So, I expressed myself badly, not all the boats in the world, but I was talking about the number of boats displayed in the game, there will be a lot more suddenly ?

Congratulation

did you have it working in SU10? And did you uninstall during upgrade and reinstall as prescribed by Asobo?

I wonder if it could be possible to update the version number to the actual version in the manifest.json for the next update.

Make it easier to see if I have the latest version.

Thanks for all the hard work you did and the enjoyment you bring to the sim.

It worked without issues in SU10. To make sure my installation was not corrupted I deleted GAIST, downloaded again from flightsim.to, then placed in back in community folder. Still no go unfortunately.
