  • Well, yes now it is out in the open 😄 Kai and I have supported for some time Microsoft on the development of the real time traffic for MSFS2024 using the experience we have from the development of GAI

  • Global AI Ship Traffic celebrates today 10 years anniversary 😄 On the 24th February 2013 I communicated for the first time publicly about the project on the French website pilote-virtuel.com. The

  • Together with Knud, Kai we are progressing towards the first live marine traffic version... Today was test day for new models - in particular the two new giant DFDS ferries Luna Seaways and Aura

It has been busy times in real life lately so not a lot of time to post, but life and development goes on... No exact date for launch as I keep being travelling as part of my day time job and a launch requires that I have some time at home...

But.... we have added a lot of tugs, really a lot... like more than 50 different in different sizes and liveries which in turn represents hundreds of some of the most numerous classes of tugs - combine that with real time traffic and you will have tugs assisting the larger ships in and out of the mayor ports...

Today I can also reveal that Larry Robinson has agreed that we can convert his fantastic BC Ferries, which many of you might know from FSX and P3D. They are avaiable on ORBX in Larry's freeware PNW Ferries scenery, so we also got an okay from Ed from ORBX to convert them. I have been modelling some of the newer series of BC Ferries - the 10 ships in the Island and Salish classes so we will have an almost complete BC Ferries real time traffic... Screenshots from the sim will follow next week but here Island Aurora taking shape in the modeling program

i forgot to mention that we also have new tankers, cruise ships, container ships in what will be the biggest update to the project ever.

😄 Thanks... Our dear sim and its' parents are getting a lot of smoke from the community, but this screendump is done with only Global AI Ship Traffic and default. No after treatment of the picture either.

Sooo cool! Thank you!! Cannot wait.

The ships are of course the main attraction but just curious - the clouds in that dawn/dusk screenshot, is that live weather or a preset I presume?

Progressing...

We have shared an internal Beta of the real time with a limited group of people.

And we have a bunch of new ferries ready for the Pacific North West
