November 26, 20205 yr What's with the water going up hills when seen from afar (more than 5 or 10 miles) after update 7? Never seen this before this update. When I get very close it suddenly looks ok. This is Saba This is Sint Eustatius, same happens in St. Barths Zoomed in Are you guys seeing this also? November 26, 20205 yr Commercial Member I've noticed this alot now. Sometimes when you fly closer to the hills concerned it corrects itself presumably because it's switching to a better LOD. Maybe it's new since Update 7 or maybe I was not flying enough in the right parts of the world. Time for a ZenDesk Edited November 26, 20205 yr by flying_w www.supertrafficboard.com
November 26, 20205 yr THANK GOD, in the main forum everyone is telling me it is my computer. It is absolutely after this patch. It is terrible. It is all over the place, and it pops into place as you fly over it. The San Juan islands, lakes in Colorado all do it... now I feel like it isn't just me going nuts. But it is a serious immersion killer.
November 26, 20205 yr Author I always do island hopping and never noticed it before this update. Guess something went bad regarding the lod. Going to Zendesk it too. November 28, 20205 yr This is definitely something new or at least much more noticeable with the latest update. I posted a screenshot on the official forum and reported to Zendesk. November 30, 20205 yr They need to rollback the mesh to the previous version, it's a mess overall. Like others said, there were some issues prior, but now it's 100x more common. AMD 5800x | Nvidia 3080 (12gb) | 64gb ram
