Yes, this device is only available in white. All previous models have been black. 2. That is the HMD I would recommend for those starting out, who don’t have a big budget and who their gear now (although availability varies by country atm). For simming, it is very good. For untethered general VR, it’s the best you can buy. 3. Your link is to the 256 gb model. The 64 gb model is a fair bit cheaper ($300 rather than $400). Whilst i bought the 256 gb myself, you only need it if you plan to buy a lot of vr games or downloading multiple movies. For simming, the hmd memory is irrelevant. 4. You also need a decent, cheap usb-c link cable, mine is the fasgear brand from Amazon. 5. Expensive alternatives are the Index and the Reverb G2. Cheap alternative is the tethered Rift S. Can’t think of any other HMDs i’d consider for flightsim. The quest 2 is an amazing piece of gear for the price.
